Another 'TACO Tuesday' came and went... by Thursday the US military was again 'locked and loaded' for another go at Iran... and by Saturday evening Trump was dangling another peace deal - 'for realz this time'. As American diplomacy erratically yo-yo's, in the real world, some oil tankers are once more sailing the Strait of Hormuz, but now on Iran's terms.

War is a cynical business, a 'racket', as US General Smedley Butler said a century ago. Wars begin because they're profitable, and only end with the promise of more profit. Is it a 'win' for the US if it makes more money selling more oil, even if that means Iran is also doing so? For Trump, perhaps, but for the 'imperial class', this constitutes 'abject surrender'.

While the stand-off between the US/Israel and Iran appears to be reaching a 'conclusion' one way or another, the Russia-Ukraine/NATO War has dragged on for 4 years, and could yet enter a new phase. Drone warfare and 'low-intensity conflict' can co-exist with 'normal life', as we've witnessed in Ukraine, so Euro-Atlantic regimes seem keen to undergo 'Ukrainization'...

I've noticed also that no one is rearming. Multiple news articles over time have remarked that the Ukrainian war has depleted munitions. Just a few days ago Fox news was saying when referring to the Iranian conflict that we were critically low on missiles which they named a few by name and then went on to explain individually how long each one takes to manufacture, how much they cost, and apparently they take a good while to complete.

...Running to and fro could be interpreted as modern transportation and knowledge increasing, the advent of the internet and computers.

The point I'm making is "Americans not having the gumption to do anything about it", we've all become complacent with tv, football, internet, unlike in earlier times when people would be in the streets to get their bread and address their griefs. During the Biden admin it seemed the far left controlled his decisions, and concerned Americans on the right and left came together at the polls to usher change, and pull us back from the precipice of tyranny. War is such a racket nowadays nobody even gives it a 2nd thought - but let me go find the actual book from Smedley cause I have it in possession and I will quote some of what he said in it in an effort to support the fellas and the rainbow unicorn just trying to express views, but damn - war is such a racket nowadays it hardly merits mention - let me go find it.....

Well I tried and I couldn't find that book - my wife has hidden it somewhere I reckon not on purpose mind ya but I couldn't find it, so bear with me I mean no harm I found three other books on the shelves and from each book I will open a page a read a bit - but we all know as Smedley proclaimed War is a Racket so that needs no further support - it is a known truth.

OK the first books is entitled "biomimicry" published in 1997 and I turn my attention to this random page which states I quote - from Page 98:

The 3rd book I pulled out when I couldn't find Smedley's book which I literally read it all - and it was succinct and to the point is Mutual Aid by Kropotkin - so let me open to a random page of that. OK - here we are page 74 2nd paragraph down:

The concept of universitas originally denoted an incorporated community or guild rather than a specific educational institution, derived from the Latin term for a body of persons associated into one society. In medieval times, this term was applied to towns, guilds, and professional associations that possessed collective legal rights and self-government, distinct from the universality of knowledge. The term was later restricted to learned institutions, specifically referring to a universitas magistrorum et scholarium (community of masters and scholars). This designation emphasized the social and legal corporate identity of teachers and students as a unified body with privileges, rather than the scope of their curriculum.

Now Kropotkin was a big fan of guilds in Medieval times and he felt they had the interest of local communities in mind and lately I find myself mostly concurring with his view on this and really Lenin must of been a young dimwit.
