The annual Turning Point USA 'America Fest' took place this week, complete with big name appearances from Right-wing pundits, pastors and politicians, celebrity cameos and gaudy spectacle. To the organization's credit, however, it honored Charlie Kirk's legacy by including Tucker Carlson on the roster - the very thing the organization's founder was pressured by "Jewish donors" to "cancel" during the summer.

As something of a 'finale' to the 'American conservative calendar', AmFest2025 further accentuated the chasm that has been opening all year long up on the Right between those for and against 'special status' for Israel. Besides being a political dispute, this is also a theological one, with voices on each side articulating the merits, or otherwise, of maintaining belief in the peculiar evangelical interpretation of Christianity as 'Judeo-christianity'.

Second hour of this NewsReal: The fallout from last week's atrocity at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, has seen the Canberra government come under intense pressure from certain quarters to outlaw anti-Semitism - defined as including criticism of the Israeli government. How that would stop ISIS terrorists from attacking Jews is anyone's guess, but maybe the point isn't to stop ISIS, but to stop you from 'noticing'?

Despite any links between Judaism and conventional mainstream Christianity, there is still no justification in giving Israel special status of any kind, any more or any less than any other country.

Israel, Jews, Zionists are not entitled in any way - the fact that some of them believe they are, and that they are the 'chosen ones' is not relevant to everyone else, and should not earn them any special treatment.

The US, if it is to survive, must rid itself of this extremely unhealthy 'parasitical' subservient behaviour, and return to its own roots - before Israel drags it into a major conflict that could ignite a world war.

TPUSA will wither into a fraction of its former self. In the short run they'll have cash since they're doing what the big donors want. Trouble is, the message the big donors demand isn't popular, especially with the younger cohort. As the public drifts away from TPUSA, its usefulness to the donors declines. So the big bucks will stop, no point spending millions on a message nobody is listening to. At least they can comfort themselves that by getting rid of Charlie, they prevented him from fighting against them, which is where he seemed to be heading. Talk about motive, they had it.

My context. I don't follow TPUSA and only examined Charlie Kirk after he was assassinated. Clearly the narrative regarding Charlie's assassination is false, which means Charlie was eliminated by some organized forces. In my view, there are too many possible perpetrators to identify one.

However, we can look for changes in TPUSA to see if its direction or emphasis has changed. This would be the intent of the assassination, at least as a potential. In my view, it is too soon to recognize. The TPUSA has changed is the increased visibility and support caused by the assassination.

No I didn't see more on that. Makes a lot of sense though that funding is always available to deceive people on the subject of politics. And Kirk exposing that was unacceptable(much like Marilyn Monroe exposing that the "Kennedy boys" were swingers [Link] ) His wife being paid off was another example of how far they will go to make it appear that political speech with reach is still possible in any country(without it being controlled and planned in advance). TBoris In trying to find more about an audit, the TPUSA does a third party audit on a regular schedule. In this case, it was supposedly an internal audit initiated by Kirk himself, but I can't find corroboration of it. In other words AI calls it a conspiracy, which means it is probably true.

That TPUSA event appeared to be an ideological mess, as well as a public infighting free-for-all. I think this indicates that Erica Kirk isn't going to be up to the job.

The most interesting speech to me was given by Tucker Carlson. He did an excellent job of establishing himself as an articulate, sincere, and morally-grounded person for the first 12 minutes. Once he had the audience eating out of his hand, he smoothly switched to handing out his assigned dose of partisan ideological poison pills. He's the Enrico Caruso of the intelligence asset performers.
