Federal officers from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) began conducting large-scale raids across the Charlotte metropolitan area last weekend as part of Operation Charlotte's Web. The objective is to arrest and deport criminal illegal aliens.

Operation Charlotte's Web has given a partial understanding of just how many migrants have poured into the metro area since the Biden-Harris regime's nation-killing open border policy.

Footage from X shows construction sites of residential homes, commercial projects, and even stores empty this week as illegals flee and go into hiding to avoid being deported.

Data from the Carolina Migrant Network nonprofit estimates that there are 58,000 illegals are living in Mecklenburg County, and an estimated 325,000 in North Carolina.

What's increasingly clear is that we may never fully grasp how many illegals crossed into the U.S. under the Biden-Harris' open-border policies. But we get a sense of the scale when ICE sweeps turn parts of a major metro area into a ghost town overnight as illegals go into hiding.

The deeper issue is that this illegal population has become a net drain on public resources. Americans never voted for a nation-killing illegal alien invasion - yet when voters give Trump a mandate to restore national security and deport criminal illegals, Democrats and their corrupt globalist judicial allies move to obstruct the will of the people.

North Carolina Democrats fall silent after ICE arrests dozens with violent records

Several North Carolina Democrats who criticized or opposed federal immigration authorities in Charlotte were largely silent when asked about the dozens of criminals arrested during the operation.

U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino - who hails from Watauga County and attended Appalachian State University in Boone - returned to familiar soil and was seen on-the-ground in Charlotte after weeks in Chicago.

By Monday, the Department of Homeland Security recorded 130 arrests of illegal immigrants, including at least 44 with violent criminal records ranging from aggravated assault to known gang activity, in its latest "worst of the worst" cache.
Among those taken into custody are 44 criminal illegal aliens whose criminal records include aggravated assault, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault on a police officer, battery, driving under the influence, and hit-and-run. Arrests also included two known gang members.

"There is absolutely no excuse to continue allowing criminal illegal aliens to terrorize our American communities," said a DHS spokesperson. "These are violent assailants, gang members, and repeat offenders who have zero regard for the rule of law in our country. They are here illegally and should never have been here in the first place. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, we are REMOVING the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from our communities once and for all."

Funnily enough, with all the mayhem regarding standards, limits, eligibility etc… and all that jazz. I do trust some semblance of humanity persists in its higher manifestation. After all there is nothing stopping wise, industrious and compassionate minds and souls emigrating to the worst areas of the world in an attempt at improving situations otherwise. How does the USA deal with it? 1) ICE is deporting them with the Dem government opposing and blocking. 2) This article is a revelation as to what is happening in the USA to jobs; the employers need to be held accountable. 3) ID - the USA needs a means of identifying illegals - and the Trump team requires some form of digital ID as necessary. American citizens already have a digital ID in their Social Security number, Driver's license, and passport (if they have one). The passport does tie all of them together including birth certificate.

On construction sites in Europe I came across lately, about one in four of five workers had a decent command of the national language.

The better (more specialized) ones go to smaller craft businesses, you can hear the distinct foreign accent whenever you hire such a company at home.

If Trump wasn't just chasing optics to serve his own agenda he could end this invasion in a New York minute by simply going after the employers. Back in the day if you were caught with illegal employees (undocumented) you faced stiff fines or a revoked licence and the inability to continue your business.

I would never hire a Mexican without a valid green card, period. I wouldn't even risk hiring a documented pimp who had illegals on his payroll because ultimately it came back on me.
