Trump threatens Zuckerberg with life in prison - Politico

A report on the Republican candidate's new book claims it will warn the Meta CEO against interfering in the upcoming election.

Former US President Donald Trump has accused Mark Zuckerberg of plotting against him during the 2020 election and has warned the Meta CEO against doing it again in the vote this November, according to an excerpt from his soon-to-be released book seen by Politico.

Titled Save America and set to be published next week, Trump's book features a photograph of himself meeting with Zuckerberg in the White House when he was president.

Under the photo Trump wrote a caption stating:

The Meta chief "would come to the Oval Office to see me. He would bring his very nice wife to dinners, be as nice as anyone could be, while always plotting to install shameful Lock Boxes in a true plot against the president."

Trump, Politico's report says, appears to be referring to a $420-million contribution that Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan made during the 2020 presidential election to fund voting infrastructure.

The former president went on to claim that Zuckerberg had told him that there was "nobody like Trump on Facebook" but at the same time had "steered it against me." Trump reportedly warns in the book:

"We are watching him closely, and if he does anything illegal this time he will spend the rest of his life in prison - as will others who cheat in the 2024 Presidential Election."

The excerpt examined by Politico follows similar statements made by Trump in the past. In July, the Republican presidential candidate also wrote on his Truth Social platform:

"If elected, I would pursue election fraudsters at levels never seen before and would send them to prison for long periods of time.

"We already know who you are. Don't do it! Zuckerbucks, be careful."

While Meta has not commented on the former president's allegations and warnings, earlier this week Zuckerberg sent a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, confessing that senior officials from US President Joe Biden's administration had "repeatedly pressured" Facebook to "censor" Covid-19 content back in 2021.

The Meta CEO noted in the letter that he believed that "government pressure was wrong" and expressed regret for not speaking out about it at the time.

Zuckerberg went on to declare that he will no longer compromise Facebook's content standards due to pressure "from any administration in either direction." He pledged to "push back if something like this happens again," and will remain politically "neutral" ahead of the November election.

On the other hand, if Trump and RFK, Jr. promise in writing to take upon the new administration a deep-dive examination of all the funds shared by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the purposes of said funds, then there is a chance I might register to vote.

Some who believe in formal voting procedures might put forth that one ought be registered to "no vote" - so maybe I'll register for that purpose only.

I'll register to be "on the books" in order to register a vote of "none of the above".

But odds are I won't waste my time on that being the levers of pain are already in action - and odds are it ain't going to make a difference whether one is registered or not - what will make a difference is if one has made preparation - cause lets be honest - this ain't no game.

I doubt they would even acknowledge a NOTA vote, they are only interested in how many people still believe in the system of deception called voting that they created years ago. Unlike the religion scheme which still seems fairly healthy, the scheme of people having a say in who rules over them may need to be updated.

This year, for the first time, I saw an actual implementation of my 1960s invention, NOTA. The Republican primary in Nevada actually had a NOTA-style entry on its ballot. It didn't have Trump, but it had NOTA ( I don't recall the exact wording, but same apparent intent)... and NOTA actually won, with a clear majority.

Did they declare "Well, darn. Let's strike these people off and have another vote..."?

They did not. They simply declared second place (30-something percent of the votes) to be the Winner.

Election fraud, pure and simple, obvious to anyone who looked.

If voting could change the System, it would be illegal.

If not voting could change the System, it would be illegal.

boli - that comes as no surprise, but since you mentioned it, I really think it is a "helluva" good idea - if for nothing else, to communicate that many care about who is elected, but would vote "none of the above" being the candidates from this corrupted and sick 2-party system typically both suck!

For you who see this and are not aware of the idea, here's a quick summary:

NOTA is an acronym for None Of The Above. Either the acronym or the full name should appear on every electoral ballot. In the event that NOTA wins the election, then there must be a new election, and all participants (except NOTA, of course) are prohibited from being on the new ballot. This is on the basis that they have been rejected already.

As an addition, it is reasonable to "count" votes not even cast as being a vote for NOTA. That is, the total number of voters eligible, minus the votes actually cast, would be added to NOTA.

Buffalo_Ken Who gets on the ballot following a NOTA win is the same as who got on it before. The "party" system has some, but not always - and there is usually a method for "independent" candidates.

Timing? The biggest problem is printing paper ballots and "setting up" computer-voting machines. I'd almost prefer that only paper is allowed, and maybe even, "blank" ballots with one space for write-in - which makes NOTA problematic. Since we're wired so tightly into the bullshit "party" system, maybe we give all Parties a week - or a day or whatever - to nominate a new candidate, and if they don't get it done, they aren't on the new ballot.

If multiple NOTA victories happen, maybe we decide we don't need a Dogcatcher - or a President - and eliminate the Office. Or maybe we just leave the current holder in Office.

It's not a perfect idea, but I think it's better than what we're doing now, and we ought to try it.

All voting should be done on paper and hand-counted - one vote at a time with representatives and being we live in modern times - cameras recording all proceedings - live and transparent for all to witness the counting (means all votes need to be double-checked for redundancy on live recordings by hand with "paper" being the only way to vote fair and no computers involved whatsoever - no ai allowed in a fair vote.
