MMMMMMMM
More than a dozen Great Danes are possible suspects in the deadly mauling of a Butte County woman, according to the Butte County Sheriff's Office.

The body of Feather Falls resident Davina Corbin, 56, was found just before 2 a.m. on Thursday by a resident who contacted the sheriff's office.

An autopsy of Corbin determined that she had bite marks across her body along with other evidence that led forensic pathologists to determine she was attacked by a domestic dog(s).

Deputies located a property near the trail and after securing a search warrant found 25 Great Dane's on the property.

With the assistance of deputies, Butte County Animal Control was able to capture 23 of the dogs over a day. Deputies are still working to capture the last two dogs.

DNA analysis of Corbin's clothing further confirmed she had been attacked by a domestic dog(s). Ongoing testing is being conducted to determine which dog(s) attacked Corbin.
