Most of these soldiers would probably fire on their own people if they were ordered to. Not a lot of heroism in that. If not. there's always the fighting age immigrants, who don't have the family ties.
The same people who have put these old soldiers where they are have also planned and implemented the immigrant invasion of Blighty. The British army has always looked after their soldiers poorly, ever since Wellington and his 'scum', his word, not mine, roamed europe.
