What a great woman!
Even without being a Syrian, I can be grateful to her, for the example she gives to the world.
She and lady Diana are in my heart. They are the rare first ladies who deserve their throne; they are exemplary about their love, care of people, strength, courage, fight and actions.

Most of egocentric leaders come and treat their illness in a european country / Asma stayed in her country and went to the same places as others for her treatment and without bodyguards! A proof she doesn't hold people in contempt, she is very considerate towards people.

This is the true face of FEMINISM, to acknowledge the challenges of the diagnosis of a, what could be a devastating illness, but also to be open and disclose, not also to her family but to the nation her challenges,, to make reforms and create a whole new structure of healthcare implementation to benefit the people.
And not only that restructure the treatment guidelines regarding cancel treatment for the future in Syria.
This to my mind is what FEMINISM is all about, makes a mockery of the term espoused in the West, in this day and age, just another ideology and meme that has no substance or meaning behind the word.
To have a bonded supported relationship with a bonded partner, to be open and honest with the children of that bonding
And simply as the wife of a political leader that has been demonized throughout the Western hemisphere, to take strength from and recognize the suffering of it's citizens, that have given so much support to the country and also it's leader and family, despite the propaganda that is bandied about in the western MSM.
