If you go to SOHO's website they actually have taken out roughly 6 hours of video, the object is there... Then it isn't.
Also, if you look at the time it takes to travel while its onscreen 7:42 first seen, 11:54 last seen. Very next frame afterwards is 17:18. 4 hours onscreen. 6 hours removed. As I'm sure most of us know that as an object gets closer to the point of gravity it speeds up.. I believe that they removed the end result of what Yamkin1 found.
Sad to say I think they saw it first.
