Witnesses: Raymond & Karen H. Shape of UFO - Isosceles triangle underside with domed top
Colour: Matte black, no distinguishing marks noted, large bright green light in centre of underside with small white light behind.
Weather conditions: Fine dry night with some high thin clouds, but well lit by the moon and light pollution.
Strange effects: Digital camera failed due to discharged battery although same was energised a few days previously and only one photo taken.
What is believed to be a low flying helicopter was heard by the witnesses at the time of sighting, but the UFO appeared silent. A helicopter was seen leaving the area a couple of minutes after the sighting.

From a rear window in our house we saw a black UFO as described above with a large green florescent light in the centre of its underside.
The object was approximately 100 to 150 feet off the ground and 30 metres from the house traveling from East to West and covered a distance of around 50 metres in approximately 30 seconds.
It appeared to have no visible means of propulsion. I then attempted to photograph the object but the camera battery was flat.
The object had now moved out of sight, but was again spotted from an adjoining room, its altered position now displayed a side and rear view when it appeared domed or cigar shaped.
It is difficult to estimate its size, but was probably between 10 and 15 metres in length and by perspective a third as wide, the striking green light in the centre had a diameter that was a 25 per cent of the width.
I had expected neighbours to have witnessed the object due to the noise, my next door neighbour did, but could not get any visuals.
