Triangular orange colored UFO over South Chicago Heights, Illinois

Location of Sighting: South Chicago Heights, Illinois.
Number of witnesses: 8
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round in distance and triangular closer.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It arose over trees in the south. Orange light, no flashing lights and looked as if it were on fire. Round in the distance. No sound and triangular as it traveled straight north. Disappeared up into clouds, followed by flashing white lights in a radar pattern in the clouds.

Orange UFO and a flash seen from Elgin, Illinois

Sorry for the bother, but we have had an experience like the on your website. Today around 10:03 we spotted an orange sphere in the 60120 area around Hill St. By Larsen Middle School. At first the sphere was moving somewhat slow, but then it sped up. At first we thought it was a plane or helicopter, but we realized it was moving too fast.

As we followed it, there was a big flash and at that moment it seemed to disappear, but like a minute later re-appeared and was moving back and forward at alarming speeds. Then about 10 minutes later we saw government planes scouting the area.

At this moment (10:36) they are still searching the skies. We would like to know any information that you have on it and if you hear about any one else having this same experience please contact us A.S.A.P. We tried taking a video, but nothing seemed to show on it.

A loud boom was heard and yellow light seen over Elmwood Park, Illinois

We saw the same thing at 10:15pm, except ours followed by a boom after the flame and radar lights.

Hello, ok here's my story, I live in Elmwood Park, Illinois and I was parking my car in the driveway as I just got home. I heard a boom and as I looked up in the sky with my girlfriend, I saw a flame -ish, yellowish light floating from south to north and then it vanished.

My girlfriend tried taking a photo of it with her camera phone, but not much came out. I am sending you the picture we tried to get. This was on the evening of September 5th around 10:15 pm, I'm a bit confused, also still hovering in the east are bright lights, but that might be a weather radar pattern or something. Sincerely.
