Description: I don't know if you would consider this a military test or a UFO sighting. I saw 2 jets flying parallel to each other with a third object (couldn't make out the shape too wee) in a triangle formation. All of a sudden either some sort of metallic material (it reflected the setting sun, spiraled and disappeared) was released or the third object following the jets broke up. For the next 15 minutes or so, there was a flurry of high altitude jet activity following the same flight path. Could it have been some sort of anti-missile (FLAK) experiment? I live between Laguardia and Kennedy airports.

Note: The military would not be conducting exercises involving targets over a populated area between two major international airports. Anyone else who may have witnessed this sighting or has information is urged to file a report or fill in the comment form below.
