While the study of UFOs in itself is growing in popularity, many field investigators in the past dismissed reports quickly that were coming from the same witness or the same location. Most UFO encounters are a chance item in life, and it seemed improbable that multiple sightings were valid unknowns.
Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) Pennsylvania State Director John Ventre says he isn't discounting any reports these days as the UFO phenomena becomes bolder.
Pennsylvania is one of the leading states for "Most UFO Traffic" in the U.S.
"In the past it was highly unlikely to have a witness see repeat sightings in the same area," Ventre said, "but 'UFO Waves' are becoming more common as the sightings across southern Pennsylvania continue. I don't discount anything a witness says. They (UFOs) are becoming bolder in their letting us see them. Disclosure may be close as 2012 approaches.
Comment: Ah, yes, disclosure. But if disclosure ever comes, will it be an accurate depiction of what is really happening, or just more smoke, mirrors and manipulation?
Case in point.
California, August 12, 2010 - Moving star brightens, stops, waits then disappears. MUFON Case # 25085.
The witness in this case is reporting what first appeared to be a star in the sky - but the object becomes brighter and then moves - and eventually shoots out into space until it is lost from sight. But more interesting than the simple description, is that the witness claims 15 sightings over an 8-week period. That's almost two sightings weekly.
While many witnesses in the MUFON witness reporting database do not give up their exact location for public view - like offering a town or city name - this witness suggests that if we were standing in Redding, California, that we should be looking west and toward the northern sky.
UFO hot spot?
Go, Redding.
I relocated out of Chicago after 20 years to southwestern, Pennsylvania - where some of the hottest action is (Well, statistically at least.) I've already gotten 3 seconds of a giant, green fireball. Pretty neat. I saw a disc-shaped UFO in this same area from 30 feet in 1974. I'm sure our readers can fill us in on some of the other "hidden" UFO hot spots around the country.
