US: Odd Shaped Dark Object Seen Floating in Daylight Sky

Granite Falls is in Mountainous Central Washington.

Description: I was with my friend coming down from Green Mountain and we saw a huge odd shaped thing just floating in the sky. I pulled over at the Pacific Pride to get out of my truck to get a better look and it moved just out of sight over the tree line. When I pulled out we could still see it, but it was farther away and just sitting still. It was way too big to be a kite or balloons. I can't describe the shape, but it wasn't round. It was just a big stationary odd black mass in the sky.

Note: I don't have an explanation for this report. Anyone else who may have seen this object is urged to file a report.
