US: New York witness offers photo of 'something strange' in night sky

A New York witness near Pine Bush reports seeing "something strange" in the sky and taking a photograph in February 2010, but then never giving it another thought until reviewing images the following month, according to testimony in the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

Pine Bush is a hamlet in the town of Crawford, Orange County, New York, population 1,539. The area is part of the Poughkeepsie - Newburgh - Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If New York MUFON State Director James Bouck, Jr. investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

New York, February 2010 - Lights in formation in sky. MUFON Case # 23411.

I was driving west on route 52, approaching Pine Bush, NY. I noticed "something strange" in the sky, and snapped the attached photo. I don't remember seeing the lights move or blink or anything.

Fast forward to late April 2010...looking through my pictures on my cellphone, I found the pic I had taken and had completely forgotten about. I do not believe there is any "missing time" but can't be sure, as I have no memory other than a vague memory of seeing something strange and taking a pic, then not thinking about it until I found the pic on my phone in April...
