It's an old homolog of methadone etc. It was banned in Scandinavia about 20 years ago, not because they are opioids but it's particularily nasty re. side effects.
Hundreds, or thousands, all over the world have died from combos with other substances, esp. in relation to alcohol intake.
Most other well-known opioids are safer.. Esp. moderate use...
Poly-pharmacy is never to be recommended. I think "suicides" have often not been intentional.
