Location of Sighting: North of Thornhill, Dumfrieshire
Date of Sighting: 18/02/2010
Time: 8.30pm

Witness Statement: My sister and I were traveling home from Dumfries at 8.30pm just north of Thornhill, when we saw very clearly in the sky in front of us about 400 feet away and seem to be just higher than tree height. 3 large oranges lights in the perfect shape of a triangle. It appeared to hover then move behind trees to our right. We stopped the car and got out and the lights had vanished. We were on a dark country road with no street lights. Anyone else seen anything like this?
