Location of Sighting: Blairgowrie, Perthshire, Scotland
Date of Sighting: 25 December 2009
Time: 8.10pm approximately

Witness Statement: I live in Blairgowrie and on Christmas Eve I received a phone call from daughter (who was out walking her dog at time) just after 8.00pm to look out my back door. I went out the back and, in the sky was I saw several clear bright lights in the sky. I think there was about 7 I saw although my daughter saw about 9 in total. They seemed to be in a formation and not on the flight path of any aeroplanes I have seen previously passing over traveling roughly in an Easterly to Westerly direction. They were very bright, with no flashing lights and no sound, they seemed to be following a specific path.

I did take some photographs and got 5 of them in the camera but it is not an expensive camera and the quality is not that good. However, when I enlarged the photos on the computer different photographs portrayed them as different shapes at different times. After watching them for several minutes most of them disappeared upwards. However, I then noticed one had broken away from the rest and took a slightly different path and seemed to drop down in height, I then focused on this one which flew in an Easterly direction appearing to come lower then it turned slightly southerly and higher then disappeared. I would love to hear from anyone else who saw this? I will also email 2 of the photographs I have taken.
