Location of Sighting: Stranraer
Date of Sighting: we know it was Eitha 7th or 10th of Oct 09
Time: 7.15-7.30pm

Witness Statement: We were walking towards Johnsimpson Drive when I looked up and saw what I thought was a star at first. After a few seconds I realised that it was moving and told my partner and daughter to look up. It was just a plain white light and was moving in an arch direction It was a calm quiet, clear night and there was no noise coming from the object. After a few minutes it stopped and moved up and down for a few seconds and disappeared. As we walked up to my mums a few planes appeared and were flying round the area where we had seen the light. And we were still seeing the planes half an hour later as we went home.

I know what planes, helicopters look like and this wasn't any of them. The 3 of us seen the same thing and why did the planes fly about the area.
