Location of Sighting: Near Leeds bradford airport
Date of Sighting: 25 and 26th dec 2009
Time: 715pm

Witness Statement: I saw an orange ball of light coming from south eastern direction changed direction due west before changing direction again due north. My partner and child saw same thing. I am tee total I don't drink and there was no noise from this thing. It was pretty high in sky but what rules out a chinease lantern or any balloon it was traveling AGAINST THE WIND!! This was an Eerie feeling as its size and shape suggested. It was bigger than a house for the distance it was in night sky as it was going in and out of the cloud cover and cloud were at 1000ft I checked it for landing lights, was none.

As I live near a major Airport. I'm sure they must have something on there scanners and as I said it was traveling against the wind hence it can't be a balloon.
