7th November - Château-Thierry (Aisne): Among the many sightings reported since the beginning of the month in the [North-East] region, one happened the same evening as the sighting reported by the person driving between Courmont and Trélou-sur-Marne. The phenomenon happened more to the west though, in Château-Thierry. The witness, a woman, was interviewed by researcher Jean-Luc Lemaire.
"On the 7th of November, around 6:30 pm, I was driving out of Château-Thierry and had passed the A4 highway junction when I saw an enormous headlight in the sky. It was slowly going down in my direction. The headlight was round and very bright but wasn't lighting up the road".
Maybe the witness mixed it up with the light of a plane approaching the Paris airports?

She doesn't think so: "It was too big and too low for a commercial airliner, and when this light passed above me, I didn't see the shape of a plane."

15th November, Jeantes (Aisnes): Around 9 pm, residents noticed a strange phenomenon while they were walking their dog. They saw "a blue ray falling from the sky, almost vertically, and lighting up the trees", says Christian Comtesse. According to the witnesses, the luminous impact on the tree branches gave the shape of a circle. In the previous months, luminous balls were reported in Jeantes, but they might have been mixed up with lasers. However, M. Comtesse doesn't believe in this explanation as far as the 15th November sighting is concerned.

19th November, Charleville- Mézières (Ardennes): Around 7:10pm, a resident who was smoking a cigarette in front of his house noticed a white "luminous spot", then two others. "The three spots formed a triangle". So far, nothing abnormal: it could have been stars. Except that "two luminous spots came out of these triangle spots", says Jean-Luc Lemaire. "The witness had the impression that they moved in a coordinate way. They shifted direction in concert, as if they were fixed on the same object. They moved toward West, South and North, then came to a stop." Once he had finished his cigarette, the witness came back inside his house, but the phenomenon was still there.

That same evening, around 5:34 pm, a resident of Logny-Bogny saw a "luminous spot" slowly moving East. This sighting might have coincided with the passing of the International Space Station, but "this explanation doesn't fit, because the photos the witness took with his cell phone don't match the ISS description" , according to M. Lemaire (one of the - low quality - pictures shows a blueish rectangle).

24th November, Reims (Marne): Around 11:30 pm, a resident was watching TV when he noticed a light at the window.
"I went out on the balcony and saw a sort of object looking like bus windows sharply lighted from the inside. It was low in the sky, didn't move and didn't make any sound. The light slowly decreased, like a lamp that you switch off. It decreased to the size and dimness of a star, and then to a red spot. Then, it completely disappeared. It felt really strange. I thought about it the whole night."
This list is not exhaustive. A private researcher living in Charleville- Mézières, Jean-Luc Lemaire, who works in association with Christian Comtesse, is looking for witnesses following the sightings which occurred in Charleville- Mézières' sky on the 19th November (phone. 03.24.59.08. 49).
