Date of Sighting: 20th 21st & 22nd July 2009
Time: between 10.30pm & 12.00am each night

Witness Statement: On Monday night I was sitting in my kitchen having a cup of tea, when I looked out of the window and saw a large white object hovering above the chimney stacks opposite my flat. It moved up and down then from side to side at great speed then stopped again. My windows were open and there was no sound at all. It had a few yellow lights on one side of it. I managed to get a couple of pictures on my mobile phone and when my friend enlarged one image it was quite clearly a strange looking object with an orange train from it in the shape of a tick. It stayed there for almost 2 hours. This object has since reappeared for the past 2 nights though it stayed approximately 45 mins on Tuesday night and only 8 mins on Wednesday night.

Although I live in the flight path between John Lennon Airport & Manchester Airport and I see loads of planes, I am 100% sure that this was definitely no plane or helicopter. another of my friends, who lives in Runcorn also said that her husband had seen it on Monday night.
