Time: Aprox 10:30pm (Friday night)

Witness Statement: I had been out to a pub after work on the Friday night in Ystrad Mynach, My mate Paul Williams had picked me up quite early and I had only had 3 pints! We made our way back towards Aberdare, we decided as it wasn't that late so we decided to travel up through the Rhondda valley through Porth, Ferndale, Meardy and over the Graig Mountain back down into Aberdare. When we were driving up the mountain from the Meardy side it triggered my memory of seeing a UFO with my sister and parents many years ago, we spoke about it for a minute or two and then carried on speaking about general stuff. We got further over the mountain towards the last layby on the right as you drop down to Aberdare and I saw what I thought were like dark cloud like objects in the sky over towards the direction of the Gas tank and beacons. I said to Paul jokingly look there's 'Two tripod's' like in war of the worlds, we chuckled about it, but whilst I was watching these object one disappeared and the other looked like it was moving. Paul stopped the car and we watch the other object re-appear, they moved slowly in the direction of Aberdare.

We started to move in the car again watching these dark objects, eventually stopping at the top bend of the craig before you drop down to Aberdare, the objects now seemed to be more on the horizon more towards the Gas tank and seemed to be moving slowly along the mountain top over towards bryn pica tip. One of these dark object which now could only be described as the outline of an old fashioned flying saucer seemed to come nearer to us. 3 to 4 other smaller objects of similar size seemed to come from this bigger saucer and move around slowly, they then all seemed to go back into the bigger saucer. We watched these objects move about for about 25 minutes until they seemed to disappear over the horizon, one of the object's seemed to be following the top of the mountain towards Abernant and Cwmbach until it completely disappeared from sight. We had opened the car windows whilst we were watching and there was no sound at all. There were no flashing lights either just these dark flying saucer shaped objects! The next morning I found a picture via google images, it was the only picture out off every result I found that was almost identical to what me and my mate Paul had seen! I've still got the picture if anyone wants to see it.
