Ian Welsh from Bala took pictures with his digital camera during days out in Bala and elsewhere in the UK.

"I did not see these objects when I took the pictures, it was only after I noticed them," said Mr Welsh.

The Free Press showed the photos to Scott Felton at the Conwy UFO Group, based in Colwyn Bay.

Mr Felton said: "I find one the most interesting of the images.

"Battles are raging across the UFO world and among all sorts of paranormal disciplines about these orbs or spheres appearing in photographic images.

"What I find interesting about this image are the three apparent spheres which are in a triangular formation.

"The fact that this formation exists and if it could be confirmed it was maintained, would prove it was not natural phenomena," he added.

"UFOs mean exactly that - unidentified flying objects, whether alien or human engineered.

"Anyone seeing any aerial phenomena should make a written record of it - recording as much as possible, ie, distance, noise, speed, direction, height, colour and unusual movements.

"They should contact their local newspaper and UFO group asap and report the sighting."
