Date of Sighting: 20/06/09
Time: 06.00

Witness Statement: Due to the heat I woke at 5.30am and went onto my balcony for a cigarette. The sky was morning blue and exceptionally clear. The crescent moon was bright and you could clearly see the outline of the whole moon and Venus was brighter than ever. There were no other objects in the sky apart from distant stars. At 6am I lit a cigarette and walked back onto the balcony and couldn't believe what I saw. There out of nowhere appeared another 'bright star' but this one started to move. Having seen these 'objects' in the sky before that has suddenly disappeared I was determined to watch this one and didn't look away once.

It was moving northward at a smooth speed and in a straight line and continued until out of sight which took about a full minute. I quickly went inside and noted the time it was 6am local time.
