Society has for the most part been discombobulated to the fact of where we reside on the food chain; most see animals as these cute cuddly critters while the fact of matter is simply this, we've spent much more time throughout history trying not to be eaten by that which sees us as a food source and in less than 100 years Humans have lost sight of this with the difference being that Nature is brutal whereas Humanity has shown itself to be cruel.
