Harib stated that 22 people have died in the past two days due to lightning strikes, and the number of deaths since the beginning of the year has reached 160.

Harib emphasized the need to take precautions such as installing lightning rods in areas with heavy rainfall to prevent further loss of life. It is reported that approximately 210 people have lost their lives and hundreds have been injured due to floods and accompanying lightning strikes in many cities in Yemen since the beginning of August.
