At least four commercial airline pilots have encountered mysterious, colorful, circular lights "moving at extreme speeds" through the skies above Oregon this past weekend, according to local reports.

Pilots and nearby air traffic control dispatchers discussed the alarming sightings in air traffic control audio archives from Dec. 7, which were obtained by OregonLive.

Wright Patterson AFB, a high-profile base that's home to critical Air Force units, is the latest installation to deal with mysterious drones.

The sprawling Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio is the latest military installation to report mysterious drones flying over its airspace, The War Zone has learned.

"I can confirm small aerial systems were spotted over Wright Patterson between Friday night and Saturday morning," base spokesman Bob Purtiman told The War Zone on Sunday in response to our questions about the sightings. "Today leaders have determined that they did not impact base residents, facilities, or assets. The Air Force is taking all appropriate measures to safeguard our installations and residents."

The drones "ranged in sizes and configurations," Purtiman said. "Our units are working with local authorities to ensure the safety of base personnel, facilities, and assets."

Best of the Web: They just keep coming: Mystery drones now spotted over US military base in Germany

Ramstein Air Base
© Ramstein Air Base (Facebook)There have been sightings of mysterious drones at the air base and other locations in Germany recently.
Unknown drones have been spotted in recent weeks above a U.S. military base and other locations in Germany, according to reports.

Citing the German magazine Spiegel, Reuters reported that unidentified drones were spotted above the U.S.'s Ramstein Air Base on December 3 and 4 during the evening. Drones had also been seen above the German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall and the chemicals group BASF, the report said.

The origin of the drones is unknown, and the drone sightings come as German intelligence chiefs have rung the alarm that the country's support of Ukraine could make it a target for sabotage attempts, The Guardian reported.

The US government must come clean about UFOs

UFOs History

Last month's congressional hearings on unidentified anomalous phenomena — UAP, the government's new name for UFOs — could be characterized as a tale of two testimonies.

The first hearing was before two subcommittees of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee and included sworn statements by myself, a former NASA official, an investigative journalist and Luis Elizondo, a former senior leader of the Pentagon's secret UAP office, known as the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.

Elizondo was unequivocal about UAP: They are real, of nonhuman origin, represent advanced technologies that are monitoring sensitive military installations around the globe, and information about them is being withheld by the U.S. government from members of Congress and the public.

In my testimony, I backed up Lue's statement and commended his courage and that of other former government UAP witnesses and whistleblowers who have spoken out. I also described my personally witnessing a now-declassified UAP video captured by the infrared sensor on a Navy fighter jet during a training event off the East Coast in 2015.

The cows, mostly calves, were last seen grazing on national forest land southwest of Montrose. Officials are investigating the disappearance of 180 cattle after several ranchers along the Western Slope reporting them missing.

The multicolored cattle, mostly calves, were last seen grazing on national forest land along Uncompahgre Plateau, southwest of Montrose, before their owners reported them missing, Sgt. Chuck Searcy with the Montrose County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.
"When they bring them down off the mountain for winter, that's when they start counting them and going through."
Whether cattle thieves are to blame is unknown. The sheriff's office is in the beginning stages of its investigation and working to determine if a person or group of people is responsible for the heifers' disappearance. The Uncompahgre Plateau sits at an average of 9,500 feet in elevation and covers 1.5 million acres, or more than 2,300 square miles.

NJ state senator calls for 'limited state of emergency' to ban drones following sightings

New Jersey state Sen. Jon Bramnick, R-21st District, on Monday said in a statement:
"The State of New Jersey should issue a limited state of emergency banning all drones until the public receives an explanation regarding these multiple sightings."
Gov. Phil Murphy wrote on social media platform X last week that there were reports of "drone activity" across the northern and central parts of the state.

The governor said he held a briefing with U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, senior officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the state's Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness and state police, along with members of New Jersey's congressional delegation, to discuss the issue.

Gov. Murphy wrote:
"We are actively monitoring the situation and in close coordination with our federal and law enforcement partners on this matter. There is no known threat to the public at this time."

Best of the Web: I'm a UFO researcher from New Jersey. The drone situation is out of control

Pentagon hegseth budget cuts doge
© IDF/Middle East EyeThe Pentagon’s most recent budget was about $850 billion.
This is a disturbing situation, which is why we, as citizens, must demand that the Pentagon release more information to both Congress and the American people.

Last week, a neighbor sent me a video of a car-size aircraft silently hovering over a nearby neighborhood, its green and red lights flashing in the night. It was one of many messages I've received over the last two weeks about an alarming number of unidentified objects flying over Somerset County, N.J., where I live with my wife and daughter.

As a UFO researcher for over a decade, I'm being asked by friends, family, and neighbors to explain what's happening in our community. While I don't have all the answers (and neither does the FBI, which is currently investigating), I try to reassure people that there's likely nothing to fear. Gov. Phil Murphy offered a similar message on Thursday, posting on X, "There is no known threat to the public at this time."

But the truth is, I am concerned — and I'm also searching for answers.

Police threaten man posting videos investigating mysterious Idaho 'BOOMS'

A man posting videos to social media questioning mysterious loud booms in Idaho says he was told to back off his research by a friend in law enforcement.

The man, TikTok user @aaronsbitofeverything, had posted a video earlier this week saying the local watermaster couldn't explain the booms, which have been happening for two months "specifically at night" and sound like loud explosions that rattle windows and shake houses three to four times a week.

"Shortly after posting my video about the booms, I have a law enforcement friend - I'm not going to say if it's state level or county level - but he came over to my house and said, 'Hey, Aaron it would be a good idea to pull the video you posted about the booms and not talk about it anymore,'" the man claimed.

High Strangeness? Drone incursions of unknown origin detected over USAF bases in UK for the second week

A week into the drone incursion flap in the United Kingdom and there remain many more questions than answers.

After more than a week of drones being spotted over four of its facilities in England, Air Force officials are still trying to find out who is flying them, why they are being flown, and the relationship between incidents at different installations. One thing is clear, however. They are not being operated by your average drone enthusiasts.

Two U.S. officials told The War Zone that these drones "do not appear to be the work of hobbyists." Witnesses say they are quadcopters and octocopters and are more sophisticated than consumer off-the-shelf models.

The incidents at RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Fitwell "appear to be connected," one of those officials added. The relationship to drones seen over RAF Fairford is less clear. The War Zone was first to report the drone incursions. They began to appear on Nov. 20 and continue to this day.
