Scores of people have been killed and potentially hundreds have been injured by airstrikes in Yemen, the latest escalation in the Saudi Arabia-led coalition's war against Houthi rebels in the shattered country.

Targets struck on Friday reportedly included a prison and an airport in the northern city of Sa'ada, various government facilities and a telecommunications building in Hodeidah. Many of the victims were rushed to Al-Gumhourriyeh Hospital in Sa'ada, which received 138 wounded and 70 dead, according to the aid group Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

Al-Gumhourriyeh is so overwhelmed that it can't accept any more patients, and at least two other hospitals in the city have received large numbers of casualties, MSF said. There are still many bodies at the scene of the most devastating strike, at the prison in Sa'ada.

"It is impossible to know how many people have been killed," said Ahmed Mahat, MSF's head of mission in Yemen. "It seems to have been a horrific act of violence."

Virginia school boards sue to block Youngkin order making masks optional

Seven Virginia school boards are suing state Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) in an effort to block his executive order that makes mask-wearing optional in the classroom.

The plaintiffs, led by Fairfax County Public Schools, are requesting an immediate injunction of Youngkin's executive order, which gives Virginia parents the authority to choose whether their children should wear a face covering in classrooms.

The school boards are arguing that Youngkin's order violates a section of the state constitution, which says "The supervision of schools in each school division shall be vested in a school board."

They are also contending that the new governor's order is in breach of a law former Gov. Ralph Northam (D), Youngkin's predecessor, signed in March, which says schools in the state should abide by federal health recommendation to the "maximum extent practicable."

Comment: Youngkin seems like a pretty sensible guy. It's no wonder school boards led by fear and control are going after him.

UK gov't to 'postpone' Covid jab mandate for NHS staff, follows massive protests and study showing 100,000+ workers would be sacked

NHS protest vaccine

Compulsory Covid jabs for NHS workers set to be put on hold after Tory revolt and warning from Royal College of GPs it will lead to chronic staff shortages - while healthcare workers dump their scrubs outside Downing Street during protest march
Mandatory vaccines for NHS staff could be pushed back by half a year, it was revealed last night, following nationwide protests over the requirement and amid demands by Tory backbenchers to drop the rule entirely.

Boris Johnson is said to be considering 'kicking it down the road' to avoid another potentially humiliating Tory revolt, reported the Telegraph.

It comes just two weeks before medical workers will be required to prove their vaccination status - with February 3 marking the last day they can book in for a jab. On February 4, those without jabs will face dismissal warnings. They will then be asked to work out their notice periods until March 31.

Despite the threats to their career and several booster campaigns, more than 80,000 NHS staff - six per cent of the workforce - remain unvaccinated.

Comment: A November 2021 study by the House of Lords found the number was actually closer to 126,000 healthcare staff that, up to that point, had rejected the jab offer. Granted, since then some will have succumbed to the coercion, and some will have left their job rather than risk having the dismissal on their record.

Comment: We should be under no illusions that the government has finally 'heard' the pleas of citizens, because it's quite clear that nothing of the sort has happened and instead citizens are being prepared, likely with the help of the governments 'nudge' unit, for the next stage of the nefarious agenda.

Governments have announced that they will be keeping their 'emergency' powers that they snatched up nearly two years ago under guise of their contrived coronavirus crisis; the EU and the US have both announced new digital IDs that they intend to enforce on all citizens should they wish to participate in society, which the vaccine passports clearly paved the way for; and now the propaganda media are now beating the drums of war against Russia. And it seems that it is Russia who the Great Reset gang intend to blame for their planned collapse of the global economy: Also check out SOTT radio's: NewsReal: Ukraine Gambit - US Attempting to Destroy Russia

UK: What NHS workers told me at the mandate protest

More than 80,000 staff are currently unvaccinated, despite warnings they will lose their jobs
To cast them all as 'anti-vaxxers' misses the point

It must go down as one of the most powerful images of the pandemic. Nearly two years after rainbows, Thursday night clapping and proclamations to "protect the NHS", thousands of healthcare workers found themselves taking to the streets to protest against the government plan to sack NHS staff who refuse Covid vaccinations. The march culminated in protestors dumping their uniforms outside Downing Street.

It would be easy to paint this protest as "antivax", but as I spoke to the NHS staff who were protesting, it became apparent that doing so would be simplistic at best and disingenuous at worst.

One America News urges viewers to call cable companies to stay on air

One America News' owner and founder Robert Herring Sr. is asking viewers of the right-wing channel to call their cable companies to protect its unknown future. Earlier this month, satellite company DirecTV dropped the channel.

"I'm sure by now a lot of you have heard the news that AT&T and DirecTV have decided to take us off their service," Herring said in a segment that is airing on OAN. "It was a major surprise to me when I read it in the news last Friday night, as I'm sure it was to you."

He took aim at AT&T, which is majority owner of DirecTV and which, according to reports from last fall, played a major role in the formation of the channel almost 10 years ago. He pointed out he has worked for AT&T in a number of capacities, including "as a chauffeur, driving their executives around town," then put the blame for the dropping on a change in AT&T's leadership.

Comment: It's not a surprise that OAN has been targeted. They produced some of the best U.S. reporting on Biden's Ukraine scandals, Syria, plus the 2020 election fraud. OAN reporter Chantel Rion was fearless in the face of intimidation at Obama's press conferences

I'm a public school teacher. The kids aren't alright.

I am proud to be a teacher. I've worked in the Canadian public school system for the past 15 years, mostly at the high school level, teaching morals and ethics.

I don't claim to be a doctor or an expert in virology. There is a lot I don't know. But I spend my days with our youth and they tell me a lot about their lives. And I want to tell you what I'm hearing and what I'm seeing.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, when our school went fully remote, it was evident to me that the loss of human connection would be detrimental to our students' development. It also became increasingly clear that the response to the pandemic would have immense consequences for students who were already on the path to long-term disengagement, potentially altering their lives permanently.

Israel insists it only 'legally' spies on citizens

An Israeli minister has denied reports that police illegally used Pegasus surveillance software to spy on the country's own citizens, calling the "central claim" - that the practice was illegal - "not true."

Several government investigations were launched this past week after the Israeli newspaper Calcalist reported that law enforcement had been using NSO Group's infamous Pegasus spyware to illegally intercept the calls of citizens.

The newspaper claimed that police had been using the spyware since 2013 to carry out surveillance on citizens "who were not criminals or suspects."

Omer Bar-Lev, Israel's Minister of Public Security, told Channel 12 on Saturday that the allegations were not true, "except for the fact that the Israel Police used advanced technology."

"The central claim that the police are illegally spying is not true," he declared, citing the assurances of Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai, before claiming to be "very happy that the Israel Police has advanced technological tools to help deal with serious crime organizations that are using advanced technology."

Comment: Legal or not, spying is Israel's number one export:

Denver elementary school to hold BLM event teaching kindergarteners, first graders to disrupt the 'nuclear family,' recognize 'trans-antagonistic violence'

A school district in Denver, Colorado, plans to host a Black Lives Matter "Week of Action," according to a report from Parents Defending Education.

Centennial Elementary School (CES) in Denver Public Schools (DPS) announced its plans to participate in the "Black Lives Matter (BLM) at School Week of Action" from Jan. 31 - Feb. 4, according to a report from Parents Defending Education (PDE). The school said it will instruct kindergarteners and first graders to be "transgender affirming" by "recognizing trans-antagonistic violence" and "queer affirming" so "heteronormative thinking no longer exists."

Most kindergarteners and first graders are five, six and seven years old, according to PDE.

Comment: Teaching 5, 6 and 7 year olds to 'disrupt the nuclear family' is deliberate indoctrination with a radical leftist agenda. These aren't teachers, they're activists set on brainwashing kids with a dangerous divisive ideology.

US Department Facts vs. Fiction: Russian Disinformation on Ukraine
"Fact" cited by the US Department of State:

False statements from the Putin regime blame the victim, Ukraine, for Russia's aggression. Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, occupies Crimea, controls armed forces in the Donbass, and has now amassed more than 100,000 troops on the border with Ukraine while President Putin threatens "retaliatory military-technical" measures if his demands are not met.

The blame for destabilising the situation in Ukraine lies entirely with the United States and other NATO countries, which supported the coup in February 2014, resulting in the toppling of the duly elected president and nationalists coming to power. Fearing for their own safety, residents of Crimea and Donbass chose not to live under the government of the followers of Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych. As a result, Crimea reunited with Russia, the Donetsk and Lugansk regions declared independence, and Kiev unleashed a civil war against Donbass, which continues to this day.
