Obama admin's first request to spy on Trump campaign was rejected by FISA court โ€” Added fake dossier

Trump and Obama
On March 7th, 2017 The Gateway Pundit reported - Only 1 in 10,000 FISA Requests Was Denied in 6 Years - Obama's First Request to Wiretap Trump Denied in 2016.

We now know that the FISA requests to spy on Carter Page were based on the discredited and bogus fake Trump dossier created by Fusion GPS and that the dossier's origin was not reported to the court.

We also know that all of these requests were signed off on by the Obama Administration's Attorney General Loretta Lynch and that the first request to spy on Trump was denied by the FISA Court.

Comment: Indeed, despite pulling all the stops to prevent a Trump win, he still won! What does that tell you about the will of the American people?

Nunes: FISA memo just 'phase one', targeting State Department in 'phase two'

FISA abuse folder
Devin Nunes (R-CA) said that the investigation leading up to the four-page FISA memo released on Friday was only "phase one," and that the House Intelligence Committee is currently in the middle of investigating the State Department over their involvement in surveillance abuses.

"We are in the middle of what I call phase two of our investigation, which involves other departments, specifically the State Department and some of the involvement that they had in this," said Nunes.

"That investigation is ongoing and we continue work towards finding answers and asking the right questions to try to get to the bottom of what exactly the State Department was up to in terms of this Russia investigation."

Comment: With all this information coming to light about the level of corruption in the top levels of the American government, will Americans wake up to the reality of the deep state and finally see just how far the swamp goes? See more:

US Nuclear Posture Review: World will not survive American neoconservatives' doctrine of hegemony

Nuclear Posture Review
© WikipediaAmerica's contribution to mankind
The government of the United States is clearly in demonic hands. We are overflowing with proof. Take today (2-2-18) for example. A report from the House Intelligence Committee was released that is proof that the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Justice (sic), and the Democratic National Committee are engaged in a conspiracy against American democracy and the President of the United States with the full support of the presstitute media.

As if that is not enough, also released today is the Pentagon's new Nuclear Posture Review. A nuclear posture review specifies a country's attitude toward nuclear weapons and their use. In past posture reviews, nuclear weapons were regarded as unusable except in retaliation for a nuclear attack. The assumption was that no one would use them. There was always the possibility that false warnings of incoming ICBMs would result in the nuclear button being pushed, thus setting off Armageddon. There were many false warnings during the Cold War. President Ronald Reagan was very concerned about a false warning resulting in mass death and destruction. This is why his principal goal was to end the Cold War, which he succeeded in doing. It did not take successor governments long to resurrect the Cold War.

Ex-CIA director Panetta on memo release: 'I have never in my lifetime seen anything like this happen'

Leon Panetta CIA
Former CIA Director Leon Panetta
Former CIA Director Leon Panetta fears that the release of a controversial memo alleging government surveillance abuses by the Justice Department will cause "some very serious damage."

Speaking with CBS News's Jeff Pegues, Panetta said he had a lot of concerns with the decision by President Trump and House Intelligence Committee Republicans to publish a confidential memo that alleges federal law enforcement officials relied heavily on an opposition research dossier in their application for a warrant to surveil former Trump adviser Carter Page.

"I think the release of this memo is going to do some very serious damage, damage to the Intelligence Committee and the bipartisanship that is necessary in order to do oversight of classified information - damage because the president and the Congress now have a position of distrust with the Justice Department and the FBI - damage to the [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] process which has been important to our national security, and all of this sends a terrible message to our allies who are going to worry about sharing classified information that is so easily released as part of this political effort, and it's also frankly going to encourage our enemies who will see this as a breakdown in our national security process," Panetta said.

He also doubled down on his past comments that it "creates a constitutional crisis."

Comment: As a Secretary of Defense and a CIA Directory Panetta resided at the heart of the connections exposed by the memo and wielded its power. Of course he would be wringing his hands over the 'damage' it has possibly inflicted.

Flashback Sebastian Gorka is a casualty of the political left-right Jewish civil war

Jews are sadly accustomed to becoming collateral damage in disputes in other peoples' civil wars. Dr. Sebastian Gorka, a senior White House official, is one of the few gentile victims of a Jewish civil war. Dr. Gorka, long a Fox News commentator on counter-terrorism, will speak at the Jerusalem Post's annual New York conference in May and at this year's Zionist Organization of America Gala. But a left-leaning Jewish website, the Forward, has published 39 articles alleging that Gorka has neo-Nazi ties in Hungary, the country of his parents' birth where he was active in politics during the 2000s.

American media have been carrying unconfirmed reports that Gorka will leave the White House, where he works in the Strategic Initiatives Group, perhaps for another post in the government. It is not clear whether he will leave, much less whether his possible departure was motivated by the campaign against him. The bigger issue for the Jewish world, though, is whether we can contest our differences without resorting to mendacity and slander.

Comment: Gorka has drawn the ire of the left in general for his support of Trump's policies.

Get all the facts out on the FBI and the Department of Justice

DevinNunes
© Crooks and LiarsChair of House Intelligence Committee, Devin Nunes
Both the New York Times and the Washington Post yesterday ran editorials calling for prior restraint on a memo written by the duly elected chairman of the House Intelligence Committee after he and his staff reviewed classified documents related to the so-called Russia investigation. These editorials are a stain on American journalism, much like the Japanese internment camps were a stain on the record of the Supreme Court. They should - and, I think, will over time - regret them.

I have no idea what is in this memo, but it's a memo. It's speech. It's from the very staff and people our Constitution assigns to oversee the Justice Department and the FBI. And the elected officials who wrote it think I should see it. The people who don't want me to see it are the elected officials and leaders of the Democratic Party, the institutions and individuals whose actions are being reviewed, and several of the same newspapers that went to court to publish the "Pentagon Papers."

Comment: You can read the memo here, if you haven't already: Finally! House Intel Committee releases 'the memo' - here's what it says

For about a year, anyone who wanted to could read the secret "dossier" prepared by GPS Fusion and paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic Party. I urge people to read it. It's obvious nonsense. It's not "unverified." It's been discredited. Its major allegations, aside from being preposterous, have no basis in fact. The idea that something, anything, could be found in it that is true - such as that Trump adviser Carter Page went to Moscow - does not rehabilitate it.

Comment: The memo does confirm important information about the bias of the FBI and DOJ and the misuse of FISA against the Trump campaign. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that this will change much - at least those who are firmly in the Democrat/anti-Trump camp will probably keep on believing the 'Russian collusion' fairy tale in spite of all evidence against it.

How to drain the swamp when lobbyists keep filling it up?

the swamp

President Donald Trump promised to drain the swamp. Instead, it's filling up.

For the first time since 2007, the number of registered lobbyists along with federal lobbying expenditures went up, reversing annual declines in both registrations and spending that began a decade ago.

In all, $3.34 billion was spent on federal lobbying last year, up 6 percent from $3.15 billion a year ago. The increase comes after lobbying expenditures had declined five of the past six years - spending rose less than 1 percent the other year.

Comment: Maybe the increase in lobbying can all be blamed on Soros. See also:

Flashback CIA admits to spying on US Senate staffers

  • CIA director apologises for improper conduct of agency staff
  • One senator calls on John Brennan to resign in wake of scandal

The director of the Central Intelligence Agency, John Brennan, issued an extraordinary apology to leaders of the US Senate intelligence committee on Thursday, conceding that the agency employees spied on committee staff and reversing months of furious and public denials.

Brennan acknowledged that an internal investigation had found agency security personnel transgressed a firewall set up on a CIA network, which allowed Senate committee investigators to review agency documents for their landmark inquiry into CIA torture.

Among other things, it was revealed that agency officials conducted keyword searches and email searches on committee staff while they used the network.

Dems sulking over FISA memo release: Rush to claim GOP serves Russian interests

Putin
© Alexei Nikolsky / Sputnik / AFP/ File
The newly released Republican memo on alleged FBI and Justice Department abuses has sent advocates of the Russiagate theories into meltdown. They immediately said it was all done in Russia's interests.

US Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) rushed to say the latest developments surrounding the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) "serve no American interests - no party's, no president's, only Putin's." The life-long Russophobe even issued a special statement on the day of the memo's release, expressing his discontent with the situation.

McCain never alluded to the contents of the document itself in his statement, referring to it as "the latest attacks on the FBI and Department of Justice" instead. He then proceeded with his traditional demonization of Russia by once again accusing Moscow of a range of offenses - from hacking to spreading disinformation - all presented as self-sufficient truths, and without proof.

Comment: Anyone capable of reading English will understand that the House Intelligence Committee memo outlines the collective abuse of power by an upper echelon at the FBI, members of the DOJ, and the Obama White House, colluding in an attempt to shoehorn Killary into office. All the whining in the world will not change that fact.

US oil production tops 10 million barrels a day for first time in the last 48 years

    ยฉ EIA
  • U.S. crude oil production broke 10 million barrels a day in November for the first time since production peaked in 1970, at the start of a decades long decline.
  • The U.S. is the world's third largest oil producer, and its status is growing. Russia is the largest, with about 11 million barrels a day. The U.S. output rivals Saudi Arabia, which has had production of 10.6 million barrels a day, but currently has cut back due to the OPEC deal with Russia and others to keep supply off the market.
  • The U.S. production is expected to expand and could top 12 million barrels a day by the end of 2019, according to Dan Yergin, IHS Markit Vice Chairman.
