Cody Shearer has been associated with Hillary Clinton since 1992. A Clinton family operative succeeded in getting federal agents to review his own "Trump-Russia" dossier, which implicates the president on a number of unproven charges.
The
Guardian reported Tuesday that Cody Shearer provided a second dossier to the FBI in
October 2016 and that it was shared with multiple media outlets prior to the election. The FBI is currently assessing the Shearer dossier, according to the report. This revelation came as a shock to even Vox.com, which
admitted that Shearer has no real "experience in intelligence."
In its report,
The Guardian attempts to disconnect Shearer from Hillary Clinton, labeling him a "journalist" and claiming that "there is no evidence that the Clinton campaign was aware of the Shearer memo."
But plenty of open-source evidence exists to substantiate that Clinton and Shearer are very closely connected.
For years, Shearer acted as something resembling an unaccountable private intelligence operative for Clinton while she was serving as secretary of state. Working in tandem with Clinton
hatchet man Sidney Blumenthal, Shearer met with Libyan nationals to gather evidence on the latest happenings inside the country, emails leaked to WikiLeaks reveal.
Hillary Clinton has directly referenced "Cody" before. In a March 2011
email to Blumenthal, Clinton congratulated Shearer for his efforts on the Libya front. "Good for Cody! I'll follow up," the former secretary of state wrote from her private email address.
Clinton's, Blumenthal's, and Shearer's carefully crafted plans for Libya did not work out as intended. Her insistence on toppling Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi led to region-wide destabilization. One year after Gadhafi was overthrown, Islamist radicals stormed two American facilities in Benghazi, Libya, killing U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Foreign Service Officer
Sean Smith, and CIA contractors Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty. Libya has become a "
lawless" state and a hotbed for Islamist terror groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda.
Shearer's connections to Clinton go far beyond his stint as one of her private intelligence operatives. The left-leaning
ProPublica, which describes him as a "longtime Clinton family operative," has documented his decades of service for the Clinton family
ProPublica reports that
Shearer's "brother was an ambassador under Bill Clinton and his now-deceased sister was married to Clinton State Department official Strobe Talbott -- who was in close contact with Blumenthal." Talbott has also served as the president of the Brookings Institution.Shearer has in the past run into inquiries about his ethical conduct. In 1998, he was the subject of a State Department Inspector General probe after he conducted informal negotiations that "
caused temporary diplomatic damage in Bosnia." Shearer "may have represented himself as speaking on behalf of the U.S. Department of State," when he was not authorized to do so, the inspector general inquiry said.
Shearer's ties to the Clinton family stretch all the way back to 1992, the
Washington Examiner reported in its piece on the inspector general probe.
Not one, but two Trump-Russia dossiers
are heavily tied to Hillary Clinton. The Clinton campaign
paid for the research that led to the first dossier. And now we've learned that a second dossier was compiled by her trusted aide. We still don't know for sure whether these dossiers were used to enact surveillance against the Trump campaign. However, that question might be cleared up this week, with the expected release of a congressional memo that documents the Obama administration's alleged surveillance abuses.
'Shocking' FISA memo will be made public - House Intel Committee vote
Donald Trump 1 - Deep State 0 In a highly anticipated decision, on Monday evening the House Intelligence Committee voted to make public the memo alleging what some Republicans say are "shocking"...along with then predicted post-Monday pre Friday modifications and rigging as I also predicted.
I dare say that the general accuracy of my 'predictions' were (and remain) no great surprise nor 'revelation' for any SOTTite, but more rather like predicting that a programmed rat who has learned one way through a maze to cheese at its end; and will continue to do so without ever changing his path.
Why? He's a poor dumb rat. Likewise, 'our' controllers here involved are part and parcel of a bureaucracy made up not of just people, but of other, 'lesser' bureaucracies, with the Peter Principle, and Murphy's Law [synergizing/ anti-synergizing? / devolving/ entroping'] (I'll just say 'working together or towards'] their easily predictable final approach, little different from our hypothetical lab rat. (The primary different is our maze/lab rat is infinitely more lovable.)
I just had one heck of a time trying to find a simple, complete download of the Nunes Memo,- yet ten thousand analyses and annotated versions were everywhere. I long ago learned to doubt such as being mere 'coincidences.'
What is most particularly galling is all the classic 'liberal' / idiot press saying, for example, that the memo's release is a 'big flop' - that's from Snopes! ... when did they get in the business of editorializing openly.? Heretofore, their primary M.O. has been to operate sub rosa to support the 'official story' whilst trying to sound independent/unbiased. What a farce.
If you seek a copy of the memo, before you find it you will find countless such articles criticizing it, and they now are not, as previously, so much focusing on it supposedly being a Trumpesque political support ploy, but instead, being forced to deal with more substantiated allegations (contra, e.g., 'golden showers' which they had no problem writing on, at length! - and so they are questioning the flimsy points that K&O improperly and illegally used, which the memo points out, which SOTTites have long known.
That of course is an intentionally distractional argument as the reason this memo exists is the abuse of the process by K&O which these idiot commentators hope to change the public's focus. by completely ignoring the primary issue; to wit: that Killary and Obysmal conspired to lie to get that surveillance and use it for K's campaign - just as they staged the democratic primaries to Sanders' pre planned loss -via a conspiracy from before day one.
That the flimsy points were lied about to acquire a supposedly 'hard to get' FISA surveillance order, so as to get a political edge for Killary, as per THE critical facts that the memo painfully points out; proving, without (yet) alleging a conspiracy of K&O, Deep State etc, and if we had a fair government and honest press, Obysmal and Killary, et al, would be getting criminally prosecuted and be looking at hard time and perhaps even treason among the charges. (After all, if Russia is our supposed 'enemy', {as K&O and the press claim} then how can they justify their selling of one third of our interest in a mega-uranium mining operation to Russia?)
(Of course, Killary's greed was/is such that the Clintons' Haitian 'Charity' stealing millions or billions will now - I pray - will be more closely looked into.
Most importantly, the naked inside dealing of the K&O operation is there for the lowest common denominator to see, or try to avoid seeing - as hard as that might become for them to do if the evidence comes out as it should, rather than some 'limited hangout' a la 'Watergate's' resolution..
I will celebrate 'like it's 1999' if/when K&O and the FBI and other 'deep state enforcement agencies' are even partly held responsible. Let us pray.
