In this first installment, we talk about nutrition. You might almost call it the key to everything. Eat the wrong foods and your brain won't work correctly. If your brain doesn't work correctly...well, you get the picture.

to share with the average person who has not questioned their diet before. Hopefully it will spark the desire for more information. I am looking forward to the following installments--well done SOTT team.

Very informative video, guys! If I could make a suggestion, though, shouldn't it be mentioned that a lot of fatty, factory farm-raised meat (at least in the U.S.) is loaded with pesticides, antibiotics, growth hormones, etc.? Many of these tidbits are fat-soluble, after all, so the benefits of saturated fat from this kind of meat may be negated.
Thanks again!
I look forward to more.
zlyia, you make a good point. It appears that there will be a series of videos on nutrition, so forthcoming videos will most likely articulate your concerns, plus much more.
Just finished watching it a second time. It packs a lot in and packs a punch too.
Can't wait to see the next installment.
quote -" Eat the wrong foods and your brain won't work correctly. If your brain doesn't work correctly...well, you get the picture".
If your brain doesnt work corectly, its doubtfull whether you will get the picture anyway and, - since just about all food is contaminated from years gone by by various contaminants that spend many years in the tissues of biotic life and just about the "whole" human race has been ingesting these foodstuffs for years and years. it seems reasonable to assume that judging by the way things are going and the PTB is taking over life as it should be to life as it is becoming and will be with such ease, one concludes that the world is pretty much poisoned-up by the chemical coctails of Big Food in association with Big Pharma and their uncles came too.
With the morass of articles that tell you about all the "bad sh+t" that is in everything we eat/drink - it would come as a surprise to find something good, nourishing and uncontaminated to eat - cant be much of that around these days thanks to the Monsantos in life - not to mention Big Fisheries who have not only destroyed significant species but have also sent into disequilibrium the marine ecology.
So with big rocks from outer space, recent radiation pollution from Fukushima and decades of chemical pollutions what is there left for "us"? Not that I am a pessimist but I enjoy less my food in general because I cant help feeling that it is poisoned with some silent sh+t substance that Big Psychotics have been spreading around and that gets into everything.
You limit the toxins as much as you can, and you eat and live in ways that allow your body to expel the toxins and heal itself. Remember, even without man-made pollution, air and water still get toxins in them from volcanoes and things coming down from space. Our bodies are designed to be able to deal with toxins. The modern problem isn't so much toxins, per se, as it is toxic *overload*. We get more toxins than our bodies can deal with.
You need to eat well, and you need to be doing Éiriú Eolas regularly to help your body and mind detox.
The thing is, it IS depressing to read endless articles and books and reports about pollution and toxins - especially when it's about how some food you've been eating is not as good for you as you thought before. And as your body detoxes, you may find yourself even MORE sensitive to toxins in your environment. This may seem like a step backwards. After all, if everything is "toxifying" you - even breathing - then what's the point?
The point for me has been the increased mental and emotional clarity that has resulted, along with improved immune function. Yes, it's annoying that things like paint and exhaust fumes now cause me problems, whereas before my body seemed to just take it all in stride. But then, on the other hand, isn't that a good thing?
Whereas before I had no idea what these things were doing to me, now I know because I can feel it happening in real time. And that means I can take simple precautions against the toxicity. And that means even more clarity - and an even stronger immune system that can easily cope with whatever is thrown my way. I may be more sensitive to certain toxins, but that is simply the body's way of saying, "Get the heck out of here! Danger!"
When it comes to actual physical illness, I don't remember the last time I was really sick!
Fight the battles you can see, and your body will be in much better shape to cope with the ones you can't see.
And when they communicate well, the sooner the "pathogen" can be annihilated :-)! I caught the flu not so long ago, besides following the strong diet, I knew what to do to aid myself more in getting it out of my system, and the next day I was healed for 95%. Whereas, before, it would've taken me atleast a week, if not two!
fun video, great graphics, good content.. for the most part.. what are those toxins in veggies.. all veggies?
And glossing over factory farming... well, not even glossing over it but omitting it, yep, become meat guzzlers, all, eat your heavy metals, plastics, antibiotics, hormones, dead and diseased animals, superbugs, eat the agony of the CAFO conditions.. not a whim or a care as long as you stuff yourselves with immorally raised and produced meat.. course you might need some kind of fibre to expel the results of your meat lust but hey, good try
As for omitting factory farming, perhaps you noticed that it was a short form video that was not trying to cover all aspects of nutrition, and that it is the *beginning of a series.* There is a lot more to come on a variety of subjects, including more nutrition.
You do have a good point about immorally raised and produced meat, though. However, remember that all meat is not raised that way.
As for fiber to expel the results...you aren't even close. Not to put too fine a point on it, but my plumbing is working better than ever eating a diet that is very heavy in animal protein and fat--lots of fat. The fiber issue will definitely be the subject of a future video, but the one on fat is being put together now.
This short piece is clearly aimed at people who have never really thought about the connection between what they eat and how their brains and bodies function. It is a very basic first step towards educating people about food and health, and as such does not need to be overloaded with too much information about lectins, factory farming, and so on.
It's common sense not to trust the FDA or USDA, but why should I trust you?
That said, I do have the advice of a resident cardiologist, which helps. Still, a 6 minute video is obviously not intended to give you a complete nutritional overview. It is, however, intended to spur you on to researching yourself, even if you are just trying to prove me wrong. ;o)
I should also mention the experience of me and those around me eating more meat and animal fat. The health and energy results have been amazing.
It's kind of sad, imagine a lizard saying, grays, you have been told by the nordics to eat just sad feelings, but our investigations have told us that torture madness, and more is really helpful to our bodies hell yeah!!
LOL what a fictious scene.
I've been keeping an eye on diet and nutrition, the information shared on the forum [Link]about diet and health, and taken some advice. I've listened to Podcasts [Link]about GMO Frankenfoods, Toxic World, Toxic Bodies and personally think your on to something BIG TIME. Maybe that's subjective, but there is a difference mentally, physically and even, dare I say, spiritually.
I've found a local organic meat store that is based on animals who were treated, fed.. humanely. There is a vast difference now compared to a time when the general learning curve, to my perception, was more organic, which actually took me from being the more carnivore that I am. It was actually weakening to some degree, not that I have any talent at watching my machine. But on the other side of that and now eating right, it's an incredible experience/difference.
Off the cuff I also have some interest in learning why coconut is so energizing. If I do it more than 2 days straight I nearly start bouncing off the walls.
..five *'s knocked it out of the park!
There are some rather angry posts on the YouTube comment section!
There is so little reliable food science available to the public, and so MUCH spin, lying and government collusion, it's hard to blame people for these reactions. Sacred Cows installed during childhood are hard to break. And once they are broken, people often fall for the "fail safe", cleaving to the first bit of COINTELPRO nutritional-guru nonsense they hear which seems to fit their personality type and stopping the questioning process there. ("Soy is a healthfood! It's GOOD for you!" --For example.)
People pitching their reactionary frustrations at this video and its makers should be aware of two BIG points: 1. It was, as the authors explain, the first in a series which will cover further details, and 2. This video has been prepared after a number of years of on-going study which crosses many disciplines, contrasting and comparing many ideas and bits of science with the help of a large body of networking individuals with no $$ agenda, who simply want to find out how to stay healthy, sharp and strong; A research process FAR more reliable than that used by most of those who even bother to ask the question.
Thank-you so much for this video! I look forward to seeing the next ones.
People need to be aware that its never a case of 'one size fits all' for humans, as we are all genetically different, with some commonalities.
This is an interesting article considering all the talk on diet recently and might be worth posting. And researchers don't think this diet is 'sustainable'? I wonder why that is?

Are you seriously proposing that to be healthy we should all ingest decayed animal carcasses exclusively? That's the most ridiculous thing I have heard lately. Vegetables cause brain toxicity? That's completely absurd, not to mention freakin' bizarre! Most vital nutrients and minerals are derived from vegetables. Most Eastern Spiritual traditions emphasize vegetarianism as a means to raise one's vibration and elevate one's consciousness to the Source, or Godhead. Meat is DENSE, and it makes YOU dense. Not to mention that the modern meat supply is LOADED with toxins, growth hormones, and all manner of nasty additives. I have always felt that something was not quite right about Laura Knight-jadczyk's published works. This only confirms my suspicions. Pathetic.
Great video, SOTT! I shared it on Facebook. I stressed that it is only five minutes long and worth the time to view. I hope people take the time to check it out.
A one-week experiment involving a juicer and a big sack of carrots will prove to anyone what a lot of nonsense that is.
...I have found out that eating meat leads to cancer.
Meat is dead tissue. Dead tissue which when eaten resides in our bowels through tiny hair like things(don't know latin term), dead tissue is rotten tissue. So eating meat is like eating rotten food(the same for cooked dead fish and chicken).
So you are advising the people watching the video to eat rotten tissue and ...get cancer.
Why? What is your basis of arguments?
Maybe you suggest eating dolphins as well or whale meat?
Apart from the slaughter issue of murdering species alike our own(the cry of these animals can be heard through out the universe), there is a health issue as there is an occult issue.
Eating slaughtered animals is a ritual from ancient times. A sacrifice to some deities no good at all.
Taking their power through eating their flesh and blood(cannibalism)
Thank you for this video, SOTT! Especially the explanation about why gluten and casein should be avoided makes sense to me. I already try to avoid them as best as I can already since the last couple of months (to my benefit, along with EE), but still slip here and there. I am also increasingly reintroducing meats into my diet (which benefits me as well, as I found out) and buy them organic or as meat of wild animals from the market, if I can manage the price. Looking forward to your upcoming videos about nutritional topics. Meanwhile I continue to read if I find the time.
I agree with Ruth. Not everyone shares the same body chemistry, and therefore each of us can benefit the most from a specialized diet. Our diets should be just as influenced by our life styles as well. One thing to keep in mind about eating lots of meat and only meat, is that unlike carbs and fats, our bodies can't store proteins for later use. Instead, excess proteins get turned into toxins like anomia, which is bad for our organs. So if you're not someone that happens to be overly active, loads of meat or any other source of protein is probably just as bad as eating only vegitables and grains. Dietary needs for individuals is not a black and white topic. There's and entire spectrum of underlying issues that need to be taken into consideration for each individual. If you really want to know whats best for you, see a specialist or a nutritionist. I do appriciate the first half of this video though. I now realize that there's something more I can look into in regards to eating vegitables.
excellent!!! And funny too!
