NewsReal: Kazakhstan on Fire: Why US vs Russia 'Great Game' Could Spark Global Economic Collapse

kazakhstan coup revolution newsreal
© Sott.net
As tensions flare between the US and Russia over Ukraine, an apparent 'revolution' has gripped another country neighboring Russia: Kazakhstan. Large protests broke out there last week over a gas price rise, and these were abruptly superseded by organized violence that threatened to topple the government, until the Russian military accepted its invitation to intervene.

That development - together with the arrest of a former prime minister of Kazakhstan (and current head of its intelligence agency) for treason - has apparently stabilized the situation, but as Joe and Niall explain in this NewsReal, the attempted coup d'etat underscores how dangerous the broader stand-off between the US and Russia has become.

The danger isn't just regional; it's global. The probability of nuclear war between the superpowers remains small, but the Western Consortium's determination to financially sanction Russia into poverty "if it invades Ukraine" presents the real threat: massive economic blowback that will push an already delicate macro-economic situation over the edge.

The global economy is teetering as a result of supply chain breakages, labor shortages, and energy price rises caused by governments' blinkered Covid policies. The Americans' latest push to throttle the Russian economy may spark a cascade of crises that lead to food and energy poverty for people everywhere. And they know it. But they don't care because, well... because "it's worth it."

A Brief Exploration of COVID-Induced Mass Psychosis

Guest post from Nicholas Creed (pseudonym) - a Bangkok-based journalistic infidel impervious to propaganda:

We can draw upon popular culture across film, fiction, and a vast array of dystopian novels to reference, attempt to make sense of, and draw parallels to our current shared plight.

A lesser-known, less readily-acknowledged social affliction at play — which requires a relatively high degree of critical thinking along with a lengthy attention span to truly comprehend — is the concept of a mass delusional psychosis:
"Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, one by one." — Charles MacKay, Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds.
A psychosis can be defined as a detachment from reality, or the loss of an adaptive relationship to reality. In the place of facts and thoughts based in objective reality in the world, those afflicted by psychosis become overwhelmed by delusions — false beliefs that are believed to be true, in spite of the available evidence presented, even if witnessed first-hand by the eyes and ears of the psychotic.

Objective:Health - The Transhumanist Agenda

O:H header
The internet hive-mind defines transhumanism as "a philosophical and intellectual movement which advocates for the enhancement of the human condition by developing and making widely available sophisticated technologies able to greatly enhance longevity, mood and cognitive abilities, and predicts the emergence of such technologies in the future." Sounds great, right?

Once these ideas were only relegated to science fiction, but now transhumanistic ideas have penetrated the mainstream discourse. And not just in terms of tech nerds geeking-out over cyber-punk philosophies - we can see this being reflected in government policy agenda, think-tank advisory boards and the projections of many other 'official' bodies.

While the TED talks and pundit tweets often conjure utopian visions of an entirely controllable biology and environment, knowing the nature of the people pushing this agenda rather brings to mind the potential catastrophic consequences, based mostly on the fact that these people rarely understand what they're doing (see the great GMO experiment as an example) and that these technological innovations are rarely driven by the best interests of the people.

Join us on this episode of Objective:Health as we discuss the downside of the utopian vision our faithful and competent leaders have in store for us. The transhumanist agenda should be terrifying to anyone with their eyes open.

SOTT Earth Changes Summary - December 2021 - Extreme Weather, Planetary Upheaval, Meteor Fireballs

esc1221
Another record-breaking cold December with a historic -61°C in Siberia, and unusual heavy snowfalls that trapped people inside their houses in NY, and some others in an Ikea store in Aalborg, Denmark.

Northern parts of California were hit by a record-breaking amount of snow, following a year of heat and drought that triggered water shortages and wildfires. Lake Tahoe saw 212 inches (5 meters) of snow, and the Sierra Nevada registered 202 inches of snow (5.2 meters) this month, making it the snowiest December ever since the tracking started (1970).

Extreme blizzards and record snow were also reported in northern parts of Spain and France. Arette La Pierre Saint-Martin registered 1.6 m (5 feet) of snow, a record for the month since records started in 1971, and 8 feet (2,445 m) at lac d'Ardiden, the highest since the records started in 1995.

In Asia, a powerful storm dumped 28 inches (70 cm) of snow in western Japan, disrupting travel and leaving hundreds without power. Obama city in Fukui, Japan's coastal region, received record snowfall for this time of the year.

Heavy snowfall also wreaked havoc in the eastern and western provinces of Turkey, blocking roads and disrupting travel, while in Istanbul, a monster windstorm blew away at least 33 roofs, knocked down traffic signs, uprooted 192 trees, and damaged 12 cars. At least 6 people died and 38 others were injured.

And talking about monster storms, "the most severe weather event in the history of British Columbia" continued, triggering widespread flooding in British Columbia this month, leaving a total of $450 million in damages.

Malaysia's worst floods in years, triggered by days of heavy rain, displaced an estimated 70,000 people in the southern and eastern parts of the country. A total of 210 areas in six states have been affected by the floods.

Weeks of intermittent heavy rain, and the collapse of two dams, triggered deadly floods in northeastern Brazil. At least 20 people died and more than 16,000 were left homeless in 11 separate municipalities.

Northern Spain was also hit by record flooding following heavy rain and snowfall. The Ebro River's water level swelled up to 27 feet (8.5 meters) in some areas, breaking a 6-year record. The regions of Navarra and Aragon were the most affected.

A deadly late-season tornado outbreak, the deadliest on record in December, produced catastrophic damage and numerous fatalities across portions of the Southern United States and Ohio Valley. Over 3 dozen tornadoes, including a massive one that tracked through 4 states, were reported. Less than a week later, a rare wind storm brought 'Dust Bowl' conditions and gusts of more than 100 mph (160 kph) to parts of the Great Plains and upper midwest. The powerful storm system triggered power outages in four US states, including in more than 100,000 homes and businesses in Colorado.

Life Inside The Fear Factory: How The Government Keeps us on High Alert

fear government pandemic
© The Telegraph
Infantilised: 'If this was an experiment in a psychology lab, we would have signed consent forms'
Foreign holidays are back! So said the headlines last week when the Government's "green list" of safe countries was revealed.

Not so fast, warned ministers, telling the public going abroad was "dangerous" and is "not for this year".

Confused? That's because you're meant to be, says Laura Dodsworth, who has spent the past year investigating the Government's use of behavioural psychology for her new book, A State of Fear.

"When you create a state of confusion, people become ever more reliant on the messaging," she says. "Instead of feeling confident about making decisions, they end up waiting for instructions from the Government."

This week's chaotic and contradictory advice on travel is all part of the growing use of fear to control the public, she believes - a tactic which has been supercharged by the Covid pandemic.

"It reminds me very much of what the Government was doing at Christmas, when family Christmases were on, then off, then back on, then off again," she says. "You have got someone tightening the screw, then loosening the screw, then tightening it again. It's like a torture scenario."

Comment: To illustrate the pan-Western application of this torture, French media literally ran multiple headlines at key junctures throughout this psychological torture process in which the government announced, time and again, that it was "turning the screw..."

NewsReal: New Year, Same 'New Normal': Mass Formation Psychosis & Crowd Psychology

mass formation psychosis newsreal
© Sott.net
Joe and Niall return with NewsReal to discuss UK journalist Laura Dodsworth's State of Fear, a book detailing how British authorities used mind control techniques to manipulate the population into following the government's every word on Covid; Dr. Robert Malone's final message on Twitter (about the documented harms of injecting mRNA 'vaccines' into children) before he was summarily booted off the platform; and Prof. Matias Desmet's theory of Mass Formation Psychosis, which is gaining traction as an explanation for why so many people are impervious to facts about the so-called pandemic.

In the final ten minutes, they summarize the US-Russia stand-off over Ukraine with a preview of how that situation could play out in the weeks and months ahead. More on the Great Game of Geopolitics in upcoming shows...

Merry Christmas to All Our Readers! Donate Here to Receive Your 2022 SOTT Desktop Calendar

FJB christmas lights biden brandon
As we approach the end of 2021, the Sott.net team would like to wish all our readers a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Truly, a happy new year! As depressing and foreboding as the general climate is right now, we remember that there is much to be thankful for, not least the friendships and fellowship we discovered and made along the way to building this global network of courageous truth-seekers!

It seems like an age ago now, but the year actually began with hope that the 2020 US presidential election could be 'un-rigged', until a bunch of naive 'revolutionaries' were led up the garden path and straight into the heart of Congress, a trap laid for them by Federal agents who used it to cement the regime's re-taking of the presidency, finally silence Donald Trump, and replace majority with 'minority rule'.

The US presidency has been restored to its purely ceremonial role (and the incumbent can't even carry that out half-decently), and since then everything has just gone downhill real fast. It's a veritable 'sign of our time' that the 'will of the people' has been so thoroughly side-lined - and not just in the US, but right across the world. We all live under the planetary regime of 'Pandemia' now. And it feels like we're in the 'end game'.
