Brainwashing methods designed to promote acceptance of the coming genocide

Scene from the classic 1962 film, 'The Manchurian Candidate' where behavior modification through operant and classical conditioning is employed to create a mind-controlled assassin. The brain-washing process depicted is more overt than this article's descriptions, but the dynamics are the same.
Americans have been conditioned to lose the war for freedom through a set of psychological techniques designed to brainwash an entire nation and promote the belief that there could never be any such thing as a conspiracy theory. This all starts with controlling the mechanisms that dispense the "truth" about today's world.

The Corporate Controlled Media

Six, count them six corporations control 98% of the media. They virtually control everything you read, see and hear. These six corporations are intertwined with controlling forces of big oil, the military industrial complex, the Federal Reserve and Wall Street. They control who gets elected through campaign donations and more importantly, they have brainwashed an entire nation to accept serfdom at the hands of their corporate masters.

The corporate controlled media uses specific psychological techniques to control. This article is a brief example of how the nation is brainwashed to question the abject criminality coming out of Washington DC.

Comment: Actually seeing how all of this is true, and how we have been subject to different types of mind-control for most of our lives is the first step in freeing one's mind, and learning to think critically about what we are being told. Once that is done, one has to get over or process the sheer magnitude of lies that have been fed to us through the media, religion, government, education, etc. It's a huge endeavor, but we at SOTT believe that working to live in truth is worth the effort. Indeed, what hope is there for humanity unless people come together to do this.

Indiana town moves to seize over 350 homes to make room for private developer

A resident mows his lawn in the Pleasant Ridge neighborhood of Charlestown, Indiana.
Charlestown , Indiana - A town is working to "demolish a working-class neighborhood" by seizing 354 homes and passing the land off to a private commercial developer. Using federal dollars and the highly-abused power of eminent domain, the city intends to evict multitudes of families to make way for economic progress.

The community under fire is called "Pleasant Ridge." It contains hundreds of small homes that were built during World War II as military housing. Today the homes are privately-owned and contain working-class and poor families, many of which have owned their homes for decades.

The City of Charlestown intends to demolish the community in order to allow new commercial and residential real estate to be built in its place - privately-owned real estate. The city declared its intentions in June 2014, when it applied to the state for permission to use eminent domain and for $5.3 million in "Hardest Hit Funds," a federal grant program administered through Indiana's Blight Elimination Program (BEP). The land grab might not have been economically feasible if not for being directly subsidized and incentivized by the federal government.

Protests against the looming seizure have persisted for months, and Pleasant Ridge formed its own neighborhood association this summer to coordinate opposition. The government's decision on the project is supposed to be made in November or December.

The perilous power of eminent domain has been in use for as long as governments have existed, but it was traditionally (and constitutionally) constrained to projects involving "public use" of the land. These might have included roads or government facilities.

In 2005, however, the U.S. Supreme Court egregiously ruled that it was "constitutional" for a city to seize homes for the benefit of private developers (see: Kelo v. City of New London). The benefits of "economic development" have been henceforth recognized to trump private property rights in the USA. In other words, people can be involuntarily kicked off land they own free-and-clear, if government bureaucrats believe another private party could use it to bring in more tax revenue for the city.

The City of Charlestown has been further justifying its authoritarian maneuver by claiming that the Pleasant Ridge community is "blighted" and full of drugs, crime, and "transients." Officials claim building retail stores and new homes would be an improvement to Charlestown.

Residents contest these allegations, striking blows at the city's credibility. And, even if the claims were found to contain shades of truth, they would not morally excuse the wholesale violation of any family's right to be secure in their own private property.

Mexico's missing students: Yet another mass grave uncovered

Forensic personnel arrive at the scene where a new mass grave has been discovered in a trash dump on the outskirts of Cocula, Guerrero state, Mexico on October 27, 2014.
A new mass grave was uncovered in the same Mexican state as the one found after the September 26 disappearance of 43 students at a protest. The police were led to the site by four arrested gang members.

The news of a suspected fresh grave was shared with local press by a police official not authorized to share details of the new find.

Although Attorney General Jesus Murillo Karam announced Monday's arrests at a press conference, news of the fresh mass grave hadn't been made official.

Those arrested are thought to belong to the Guerreros Unidos - the gang connected to the initial disappearances and believed to have ties with the highest echelons of the police force.

According to Murillo Karam, two of the gangsters claimed to have come into contact with a large group of people around the time of the September disappearance. This information is currently being confirmed.

Comment: What hope is there for a country so far advanced into the process of ponerization that the government and police of a state are indistinguishable from local gangs and drug dealers - all of whom have no problem in making dozens of demonstrating students 'disappear'? It seems that the time for Mexico's population to change the situation they are in is long passed, and things will not go anywhere but down.

Environmental activist killed as French government stamps on anti-dam protest

A fire burns as riot police clash with opponents of the Sivens dam project in Gaillac
A 21-year-old activist named Remi Fraisse was killed yesterday October 27th during clashes between police and protesters at the site of a controversial dam project near the town of Albi in southwestern France.

Around 2,000 people had attended the protest against the Sivens dam project in woodlands near the city of Albi, about 30kms north east of Toulouse.

Local residents and environmental activists have been protesting against the deforestation of the area for the past couple of months, with some staging hunger strikes. An independent experts' report released on Monday supported the argument of the environmental campaigners by pointing out that the proposed dam was too large for the purposes of irrigating about 20 farms, and that ecological concerns had been neglected.

In a hurry to clear state security forces of any wrongdoing in the death of Fraisse, the French prime minister Manuel Valls said the investigation would 'under no circumstances' investigate allegations that gendarmes instigated the violence during which Remi Fraisse was killed.

The local public prosecutor stated today that 'traces of TNT explosive similar to that found in grenades used by the Gendarmerie' were found on the activist's corpse.

Protesters across France voiced anger at the death of Remi Fraisse

Sheriff's deputies did not respond to telephone calls and the Nash County manager didn't immediately return messages seeking more information.

Miners trapped by flooding in coal mine, Turkey

A team comprising 70 search and rescue personnel is carrying out rescue efforts in the mine where 18 miners were trapped after the flood.
Nineteen workers stuck and 25 saved after water builds up and courses into areas occupied by staff

Nineteen miners have become trapped in a coal mine in southern Turkey which collapsed following a flood, local media reported.

Rescue teams and medics were sent to the mine in the town of Ermenek, in Karaman province - about 70 miles (110km) north of Turkey's Mediterranean coastline.

Media reports said the collapse on Tuesday occurred after water that had built up inside the mine coursed into areas where the workers had been located.

"The water accumulated underground [and] has flooded into the gallery. According to initial reports, 25 workers have been saved while 19 workers remain trapped," Karaman governor Murat Koca was quoted as saying by Turkey's Dogan news agency.

The convoy of 100 trucks carries 1,000 tons of humanitarian cargo, including food, medicines, bottled water and building materials needed to restore the infrastructure in the conflict-hit region
Russia's fourth humanitarian convoy has started its journey from the Moscow Region to south-eastern Ukraine, a TASS correspondent reported on Tuesday.

The convoy of 100 trucks is expected to deliver a total of 1,000 tons of humanitarian cargo, including food, medicines, bottled water and building materials needed to restore the infrastructure in the conflict-hit region.

"We plan that tomorrow evening the convoy will be in Rostov Region in the village of Kovalevka. We will further act in coordination with the Foreign Ministry and the Red Cross," Russian Deputy Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Stepanov told journalists.

A spokesman for Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Lysenko, said earlier on Tuesday he has no information on Russia's plans to send humanitarian aid to eastern Ukraine. "The Ukrainian side has received no official information on this issue," he said.

During the week, the Russian Emergency Situations' convoy is due to deliver up to 3,000 tons of humanitarian aid. The cargo will be delivered in 1,000 batches by both trucks and aircraft, he said.

Stepanov explained that on Tuesday three aircraft are to deliver humanitarian aid to Rostov-on-Don, in southern Russia. The cargo, which had been collected from across Russia, will be later shipped to cars there.

The first three convoys delivered to the Donetsk and Luhansk Regions some 6,000 tons of food supplies, power generators, medicines, warm clothes and bottled water.

Pope Francis: 'God is not a divine being or magician' - evolution and Big Bang essential to understanding God

The "Big Bang" and evolution are not only consistent with biblical teachings, Pope Francis told a Vatican gathering - they are essential to understanding God.

"When we read about Creation in Genesis, we run the risk of imagining God was a magician, with a magic wand able to do everything - but that is not so," the pope told a plenary assembly of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences.

"He created human beings and let them develop according to the internal laws that he gave to each one so they would reach their fulfillment," Pope Francis said.

The earth's origins were not chaotic, the pontiff said, but were created from a principle of love, reported Religion News Service.

"He gave autonomy to the beings of the universe at the same time at which he assured them of his continuous presence, giving being to every reality, and so creation continued for centuries and centuries, millennia and millennia, until it became which we know today, precisely because God is not a demiurge or a magician, but the creator who gives being to all things," the pope said.

Philadelphia officer caught threatening teen
The Philadelphia Police Department said over the weekend that it would discipline an officer who was caught on video threatening to "beat the sh*t" out of a teen.

In a video uploaded to Facebook earlier this month by Damaris Abercrombie, an officer is seen walking beside a group of teens.

"Hey, big man, you got a problem?" the officer asks one of the teens. "Because I notice you keep trying to make eye contact."
