Ten cities across the world are hosting a week of events dubbed "First they came for Assange," featuring Noam Chomsky, Slavoj Zizek, Yanis Varoufakis and Patti Smith, among others. It marks four years of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's detention.

Assange has been unable to leave Ecuadorian Embassy since June 19, 2012, due to the UK police's 24/7 watch on the building, a legal case opened against him in Sweden, but, crucially, because of what he says is Washington's persecution for publishing and maintaining the largest trove of explosive leaks in world's history.

Increasing numbers of highly credible and educated individuals, both in the US and globally, have been coming forward to report electronic harassment—physically measurable assaults on their bodies and brains with remote-controlled radiation weapons or directed-energy weapons, covertly-installed RFID and Bio-MEM implants, as well as COINTELPRO-style organized stalking and mobbing in their neighborhoods and communities.

Scientists have stepped in to validate these reports, including an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybernetics expert, Dr. Robert Duncan, who reports working for the Department of Defense and the CIA on AI and neuroscience projects which seek to electronically stimulate and rewire human brains. He points to the CIA's MKULTRA and Monarch Programming techniques which used LSD and torture to reprogram personalities as precursor to current-day covert brain experiments and classified-research field testing of weapons.

Dr. Barrie Trower, a microwave weapons expert who worked for the UK Navy, has spoken extensively about microwave weaponry including V2K, or Voice to Skull technologies, which put voices into people's heads via EMFs. Dr. Richard Alan Miller, a M.I.T-educated US Navy Intel scientist, has stated he helped develop V2K or Synthetic Telepathy.

That's not what you want to start off with. Find someone you can paint delusional. Find someone to call mentally ill. Have someone call him very, very sad.

Comment: While there may be a percentage of individuals who are delusional, paranoid and mentally ill what the author says is correct. There is a whole covert level of warfare being waged on the world of normal people who are largely unaware of the weapons being used against their minds, bodies and souls.

A disturbing video uploaded to YouTube Saturday shows Lakeland police officers yank a non-violent man from his vehicle, repeatedly taser him — and then taser his dog.

The video appears to be a traffic stop and the man in the truck appears to be a soldier or a veteran as he is dressed in ACUs.

As the video begins, three Lakeland officers have the man surrounded in his truck and he does not appear to be complying with their demands to get out of the vehicle. An officer then attempts to tackle the man who is not fighting back at all.

After an unsuccessful attempt at tackling, the officer deploys a taser, sending the man collapsing to the ground. During the melee, it appears that the man dressed in ACUs is holding a bible.

An assumption could be made that a secondary crime scene in a potential matter of national security would be treated with delicacy and scrutiny — and would be guarded against contamination from outside parties. But almost immediately following the mass shooting in Orlando — exactly as what happened after the San Bernardino massacre — mainstream media breached the ostensible crime scene at the apartment of key suspect, Omar Mateen.

This time, however, reporters didn't need to break through a barricaded but unguarded residence — the FBI simply left the door unlocked after its initial investigation. Actually, make that two doors — the apartment's front and back doors were not only left unlocked, they weren't barricaded, even with the ubiquitous yellow crime scene tape.

And just like San Bernardino — when a slew of reporters rummaged through the shooters' belongings — media crews made a mockery of the FBI in live time, snapping pictures, pushing items around, tweeting in real time pictures from Mateen's bathroom. Pure sensationalist gawkery on display.

Canada has adopted a law permitting assisted suicide for terminally ill adults whose death is "reasonably foreseeable." Some critics say the law prevents those with degenerative conditions such as Alzheimer's from seeking medically-assisted death.

Caving in to pressure by Justin Trudeau's Liberal government after weeks of rigorous parliamentary debate, senators finally approved the so-called Bill C-14 in a vote of 44 to 28 on Friday. The Canadian Medical Association said it was "pleased that historic federal legislation on medical aid in dying is now in place."

The law was originally proposed after Canada's Supreme Court overturned a ban on doctor-assisted suicide in 2015. The court's decision extended to adults suffering from intolerable physical or psychological pain and untreatable medical condition.

Russian soldier dies in Syria preventing car bomb attack on aid distribution point

A Russian soldier has died in Syria as he prevented a car packed with explosives from reaching the humanitarian aid distribution point in Homs province, the Defense Ministry said.

"Sergeant Andrey Timoshenkov, who was escorting a humanitarian convoy of the Russian Reconciliation Center, has stopped a car rigged with explosives by opening fire at it with small arms. Andrey received injuries incompatible with life in the explosion of the vehicle driven by a suicide bomber," the ministry said.

The doctors at Russian Khmeimim airbase in Latakia province fought for Timoshenkov's life for over 24 hours, but he passed away on Thursday, June 16, it added.

The command has presented Sergeant Timoshenkov with a posthumous state award.

According to the Russian media, the deceased serviceman was a marine from Russia's exclave Kaliningrad Region.

Russia has lost 11 troops since beginning its anti-terrorist operation in Syria on September 30, 2015, at the request of the country's president, Bashar Assad.

Comment: This Russian soldier sacrificed his life to help save many with Russian aid yet the US accuses Russia of preventing aid reaching Syrians.

A man's throat was slit by relatives of his wife who disapproved of their marriage in the latest "honour killing" to hit Pakistan, police said Saturday.

Hundreds of women are murdered by relatives in Pakistan each year on the pretext of defending what is seen as family honour, but it is rare for victim to be a man.

The murder happened at a marketplace in the Punjab city of Burewala on Friday, when Muhammad Irshad, 43, was attacked by his father-in-law and two brothers in-law, police said.

Big Brother is watching you and he wants you to believe that if you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to fear from the surveillance state.

This is a lie, of course. As we move deeper into the era of state-sponsored and corporate technological surveillance, we see the resulting evidence of individuals' loss of privacy and a transformation to a more compliant and self-policing society.

A new effort by Domino's Pizza Enterprises to start tracking their customers via satellite is a perfect example of just how eager corporations are to participate in the surveillance state. These efforts are always justified, using reasons such as improved customer service or ability to deliver a higher quality product. But the reality is that now Domino's is going to start tracking their customers' every move between the time they place their order to the time they pick it up, and thus collecting data on their personal life habits. Florida cop charged with 29 counts of child pornography commits suicide

A Broward County Sheriff's sergeant, who was charged with 29 counts of child pornography, killed himself Wednesday night about 8 hours after being released from jail on a $250,000 bail.

According to the Sun Sentinel, Sergeant Kreg Costa, age 43 and from Sunrise, Fla., was released from jail under the condition that he not spend any alone time with his children. Dan Aranson, the law partner of Costa's lawyer, gave Costa a ride home. Costa called the local police at 5:30 pm Wednesday. When the police arrived on the scene, Costa was outside his house bleeding from a "self-inflicted gunshot wound."

Police said that no one else had been home and there were no witnesses. Costa was taken to Broward Medical Health Center and police confirmed his death at 11:27 pm that night.
