UK: Female physics teacher, 29, accused of sex romp with student

A British teacher is out on bail Friday after being accused of having a sexual relationship with her 16-year-old male student.

Ellie Wilson, 29, of Dursley, pleaded not guilty Friday to four charges of sexual activity with a child by a person in a position of responsibility or trust.

Wilson, a physics teacher at a Bristol secondary school, was accused of having sexual activity with the student in August 2015, the Bristol Post reported.

She is no longer employed at the school, which was not identified due to legal reasons.

After entering her plea, Wilson was released on unconditional bail.

Comment: As the collective morality of the West goes further and further down the drain, incidents where adults in positions of power exploit the young who are under their authority, seem to be becoming more common. What's interesting is that it seems as common for women to hold the power position as for men.

I have a hard* time with consensual sex being morphed into the politically correct (these days) term of 'child trafficking'. (That should only apply if they were doing it in the street and blocking traffic. )

If the age of consent in the UK is 16, then I'd bet the marriageable age is the same.

IF he's a man of honor**, (as I like to think that I would have been at that age), he would/will do what still can be done to fix this problem. All she and he must do is get married and wait for the statute of limitations to expire. (Hell, I'd marry her if it would get her out of this absurdity - as the law, at least in the U.S., - pleasantly and surprisingly still provides - that the state cannot compel a spouse to testify against their spouse. The ONLY question is "Are they currently legally married?"

However, if he does that, there won't be any big money that he'd get from the taxpayers of the UK for his being 'raped' by that pretty blonde. (If they go to a trial, and in a perfect world, they want older men only on the jury. Failing that, older women too.) We tend to have a less prudish view of humanity than the rather sorry current crop/generation, who will each never learn the value (until it's too late) of these wise words: "There but for the grace of God, go I."
