The Pentagon has spent at least $70 million on military experiments involving tests with deadly viruses and chemical agents at Porton Down - the UK military laboratory near the city of Salisbury. The secretive biological and chemical research facility is located just 13 km from where on 4th March former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia were found slumped on a bench following an alleged Novichok nerve agent poisoning.

The assumption that British Prime Minister Theresa May has raised the alarm over the Sergei Skripal case to downplay political failures of her cabinet cost Dimitros Lyacos, Greek journalist and foreign affairs columnist, his job. Speaking to Radio Sputnik Lyacos shared his views on what could really be behind London's hysteria.

Having said on the air that British Prime Minister Theresa May is hyping the scandal about the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury to divert public attention away from the Rotherham child sexual exploitation case and Brexit problems, Dimitros Lyacos, a foreign affairs columnist, was fired from Cyprus' state-owned television channel.

"I dared to say on the air in Cyprus, the former British colony, that the reason behind British PM Theresa May's brining up [the Skripal case] is - at least according to Moscow - the Brexit problem which she has yet to solve. In a year Britain should withdraw from the EU and pay a huge sum of money to Brussels. And the second reason is a scandal about the rape of more than a thousand underage girls in a [South Yorkshire] provincial town," Lyacos told Radio Sputnik.

The journalist specified that the rape incidents remain neglected due to the fact that some of perpetrators were "refugees" which makes the case highly sensitive for the British authorities.

Comment: Poisoning a British spy in order to blame it on Russia is reprehensible. Even more reprehensible is the British authorities refusal to adequately protect their own children from sexual abuse for the sole reason that they're afraid of being called racist. It just goes to show how inverted Western values have become. Racism is the supreme evil and must be fought, even if that means subjecting our children to rape and murder.

Evidence submitted by the British government in court today proves, beyond any doubt, that Boris Johnson has been point blank lying about the degree of certainty Porton Down scientists have about the Skripals being poisoned with a Russian "novichok" agent.

Yesterday in an interview with Deutsche Welle Boris Johnson claimed directly Porton Down had told him they positively identified the nerve agent as Russian:
You argue that the source of this nerve agent, Novichok, is Russia. How did you manage to find it out so quickly? Does Britain possess samples of it?

Let me be clear with you ... When I look at the evidence, I mean the people from Porton Down, the laboratory ...

So they have the samples ...

They do. And they were absolutely categorical and I asked the guy myself, I said, "Are you sure?" And he said there's no doubt.
I knew and had published from my own whistleblowers that this is a lie. Until now I could not prove it. But today I can absolutely prove it, due to the judgement at the High Court case which gave permission for new blood samples to be taken from the Skripals for use by the OPCW.

British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson was today 'quizzed' by the British parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee regarding the Skripal spy poisoning scandal. Fielding the tamest 'questions' you'll ever hear asked of the foreign minister of a nuclear weapon-possessing government that is arguably on a war-footing with a major nuclear power, the round table wasn't so much an inquiry as a quarry of quislings grandstanding for the cameras.

While one committee member lamented Russia's wilful campaign of "destroying the ties that bind" (the inglorious Western Order formerly known as the British Empire), Boris Johnson agreed with another's suggestion that Russia hosting the World Cup is tantamount to Hitler hosting the Olympics in 1936:
"I think the comparison with 1936 is certainly right. It is an emetic prospect to think of Putin glorifying in this sporting event."
(An emetic is something which causes vomiting.)

This, precisely, is why the anglo-Americans have been going after Russia in the sporting arena since the Sochi Winter Olympics of 2014: just the thought of Russia being seen as another normal country, and thus 'enjoying' the cross-cultural benefits of same, literally makes them vomit.

Another tragic school shooting has taken place in the US, this time in southern Maryland. Students at Great Mills High School yesterday ran for cover as 17 year old student Austin Wyatt Rollins opened fire, wounding two students before the School Resource Officer, also a member of the SWAT team, opened fire on him. It is still unclear whether he killed himself or whether he was killed by the officer.

As we will see, this incident, and how it unfolded, contradicts nearly all liberal logic regarding the problem of school shootings in general. Thus it is reasonable to conclude that we won't be bombarded with weeks of media coverage. For this reason it seems important to analyze the situation both for the challenges it poses to the official liberal narrative, and for the deeper tragedy that it represents in American culture:

A) The weapon Rollins used was subject to Maryland's strict gun control laws
B) An armed school resource officer ended the confrontation before it had the potential to escalate into a mass shooting
C) The liberal response to school shootings is as bad as, if not worse than, the shootings themselves - for reasons we will explore below.

There are a lot of issues around the case of Sergei and Yulia Skripal which, at the time of writing, are very unclear and rather odd. There may well be good and innocent explanations for some or even all of them. Then again there may not. This is why it is crucial for questions to be asked where, as yet, there are either no answers or deeply unsatisfactory ones.

Some people will assume that this is conspiracy theory territory. It is not that, for the simple reason that I have no credible theory - conspiracy or otherwise - to explain all the details of the incident in Salisbury from start to finish, and I am not attempting to forward one. I have no idea who was behind this incident, and I continue to keep an open mind to a good many possible explanations.

However, there are a number of oddities in the official narrative, which do demand answers and clarifications. You don't have to be a conspiracy theorist or a defender of the Russian state to see this. You just need a healthy scepticism, "of a type developed by all inquiring minds!"

By now I'm sure everyone has seen The Guardian's new RUSSIA-RUSSIA-RUSSIA piece entitled 'The Cambridge Analytica Files'. In it are the sordid details of how one then-24 year old computer programmer helped Steve Bannon - the most evil man in the world besides Putin and Trump - create a process to harvest Facebook data in order to build complex psychological profiles of the voting public, then used that information to manipulate voters, not only in the US but in the UK as well.

Informational Warfare, they called it, and while Information War is not new, the oldest reference being propaganda, today the methods have evolved. Guardian journalists Graham-Harrison and Cadwalladr did an especially good job of spinning the yarn; they even credited the Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Christopher Wylie as 'a master storyteller', which is of course what they are in fact doing via their article. Whether or not the story they tell is true, however, is certainly questionable.
