A strange-looking UFO has been spotted in the skies over St Helens - two pals spotted four, orange disc-like objects hovering above the New Street area of Sutton as they were leaving Sutton Cricket Club.

They describe the objects as moving slowly and silently through the night sky and heading in the direction of Parr.

One of the men, who has asked not to be named, said: "It was definitely not a weather balloon or anything like that, it was unlike anything I have ever seen before.

Man spots diamond shaped object in the sky

UFOs have been seen flying over Clydebank, it has been claimed.

Despite it sounding like the latest X-Files plot for Mulder and Scully to investigate, John McGregor genuinely believes that he has spotted the unexplained objects floating in the sky over the Clyde.

The 54-year-old is so convinced that these mysterious shapes hovering above the town are UFOs that he has passed on his video footage to the Ministry of Defence for it to hold on record.

John told the Post: "I've filmed quite a number of UFOs and I always keep the camera ready just in case I see anything, which is how I have captured my film.

An evening paper in North Wales has used the latest technology to help UFO spotters follow a series of sightings in the region.

The Evening Leader has used a third-party website to create a record of the sightings on a timeline and map which are now embedded in its own site.

Luis Enrique Villegas was taking photos of the new Police Department Building in the town of Tlaltenango (Casa de Seguridad Publica) to the east of this city and in the vicinity of the Zacatecas Sur Technological Institute.

The witness claims to have taken over 20 shots to be used for a photo essay, adding that in only one of these images is it possible to see what could be an unidentified flying object. There is even a close-up that suggests some sort of antenna or appendix on the upper section.

At this point, the interview becomes more intense, more direct questions are asked, and tactics are employed that have a high rate of success in routing out the truth. Flint's town mayor is seeking witnesses after spotting a mysterious 'pipe-like' object in the sky.

Flint mayor Terry Renshaw was making lunch at his home in Bagillt at about 1.30pm on Saturday, when he noticed a strange pipe-like object flying through the air.

"I thought at first that it was a plane trailing a big streamer behind it, but then I realised it was something else," he said.

"It looked like a big, flexible aluminium pipe and it was travelling very fast, with no sound.

I saw three luminous spheres in the sky to the left of the helicopter. I could not see what type of helicopter it was. When I first saw the three spheres and helicopter in close proximity, I felt a sense of terror.

Witness statement (translated from Italian): I do not sign my name to remain anonymous. I am sending you some incredible photographs. I have studied these for months, and they are still a mystery to me. In my area, black helicopters I see quite often, since I am located about 10 kilometers from the base of Cervia, the home base of the 5° Stormo Caccia Intercettori.
