Unidentified drones swarmed U.S. Navy destroyers off California, prompting high-level investigations. As a result, the military is enhancing drone defense strategies amid ongoing threats.
In July 2019, a series of unusual and concerning events involving unidentified drones occurred around the USS Kidd and other U.S. Navy destroyers off the coast of California. According to The War Zone, these incidents took place over multiple nights and involved multiple ships, raising significant questions about the nature and origin of these mysterious aircraft.

The first sighting occurred on the evening of July 14, 2019, when sailors on the USS Kidd reported two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the vicinity of the ship. This initial encounter, adds NBC News, quickly escalated into a more complex situation:
  • Multiple destroyers were involved, including USS Kidd, USS Rafael Peralta, USS Russell, USS John Finn, and USS Paul Hamilton.
  • As many as six aircraft were reported swarming around the ships simultaneously.
  • The drones demonstrated unusual capabilities, flying for prolonged periods in low-visibility conditions and performing bold maneuvers near the warships.
  • The encounters lasted for extended periods, with one incident continuing for over 90 minutes.
  • The UAVs reportedly matched the destroyers' speed and maintained their presence despite the ships' maneuvering.
The Navy took these incidents seriously, ordering the ships into restricted communication modes and engaging in emissions control (EMCON) protocols to enhance security. In addition, SNOOPIE (Ship Nautical Or Otherwise Photographic Interpretation and Exploitation) teams were deployed to document the unidentified aircraft.

A flock of mysterious glowing UFOs were spotted soaring at high speed near an Air Force base in Indiana — spooking dozens of onlookers, according to wild video footage.

At least six yellowish-orange orbs were captured on camera flickering and hovering near Kokomo, just south of the Grissom Joint Air Reserve Base — before vanishing into thin air on Oct. 7, according to footage and reports.

"What is that?" one neighbor can be heard saying. "I think those are UFOs and I really don't feel comfortable going to sleep tonight."

Comment: The Daily Mail reached out to Grissom base and to Indiana's National Guard for more information:
A public affairs representative for the Grissom base told DailyMail.com, 'Grissom has KC-135 Stratotankers [a large, Boeing-made, aerial refueling tanker aircraft], and they don't have flares.'

The 122nd Fighter Wing of Indiana's ANG, however, did take credit for the flares: 'F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft assigned to the 122nd Fighter Wing conducted night-flying operations on Oct 7, 2024, near Kokomo, Indiana,' said Master Sgt William Hopper.

'This training regularly incorporates the use of flares and is no cause for concern,' Master Sgt Hopper, the 122nd Fighter Wing's public affairs superintendent told DailyMail.com.

'The men and women of the 122nd Fighter Wing are blessed and humbled to be surrounded by such a patriotic community here in the Hoosier heartland,' the official continued, pointing citizens to the wing's Facebook, Instagram and X profiles.

'Please visit [...] for updates on when to expect future night-flying operations,' MSgt Hopper advised. 'We are proud to serve our community, state, and nation.'

Nevertheless, the 122nd Fighter Wing spokesperson said he had no explanation for the oddly large weather radar event the morning after those flares were dropped.

'We wouldn't be the right source for any weather-related questions,' Hopper said.

U.S. officials don't know who is behind the drones that have flown unhindered over sensitive national-security sites — or how to stop them

A retired, senior Pentagon official has confirmed that UFO 'mother ships' were spotted 'releasing swarms of smaller craft' — adding further mystery to the still-unexplained intrusions over multiple US military bases.

His statements come amid the release of 50 pages of Air Force records related to provocative 'drone' incursions, that one general calls 'Close Encounters at Langley.'

For at least 17 nights last December, swarms of noisy, small UFOs were seen at dusk 'moving at rapid speeds' and displaying 'flashing red, green, and white lights' penetrating the highly restricted airspace above Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.

Senior ex-Pentagon security official Chris Mellon told DailyMail.com that the episode was 'part of a much larger pattern affecting numerous national security installations.'

Evidence of alien life could be revealed next month as NASA filmmaker claims 'we've found it'

Telescopes on Earth have found evidence of intelligent alien life and the proof will be released in less than one month, a filmmaker claims.

Simon Holland, who has worked on documentaries for the BBC and NASA-funded projects, said that an Oxford-backed program searching for extraterrestrial signals has quietly identified 'non-human intelligence in our galaxy.'

The signal — a five-hour-long burst of radio waves — appeared to be from a region around Proxima Centauri, a star about 4.2 light-years away from Earth.

The Oxford team has confirmed they are analyzing the signal but have not revealed the likely source.

'They are looking for details, hence the delay in publishing the news,' Holland told DailyMail.com of the strange radio signal, which has been hotly debated ever since astronomers first detected it on April 29, 2019.

How should conservatives respond to the UFO phenomenon?

UFOs are supposed to be the stuff of conspiracy theories and fringe documentaries. And yet many high-ranking government officials believe some of the most explosive claims about UFOs to be true. How would this potential reality affect the conservative worldview?

On December 13, 2023 Majority Leader Chuck Schumer took to the Senate floor to deliver remarks which can only be described as incredible. He was speaking about his amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Remarkably, the subject of this amendment was not Ukraine or China, nor Russia or Iran, but rather UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, or what used to be called UFOs). Schumer lamented that
The United States government has gathered a great deal of information about UAPs over many decades but has refused to share it with the American people. That is wrong and additionally breeds mistrust. We have also been notified by multiple credible sources that information on UAPs has also been withheld from Congress, which, if true, is a violation of laws requiring full notification to the legislative branch.
These claims — that the executive branch of the government has gathered a "great deal of information" about UAP over "decades" but has refused to share it with the public and has even violated the law by withholding information from congress — are quite simply extraordinary.

New whistleblower reveals name of UAP unacknowledged special access program: Immaculate Constellation

public ufo
A leaked whistleblower report says the Pentagon is operating a secret UFO retrieval program called "Immaculate Constellation," according to independent journalist Michael Shellenberger.

The report revealed for the first time the name of an alleged UAP program, stating that the executive branch has been managing UAP issues without congressional knowledge or oversight, possibly for decades.

Shellenberger told NewsNation's Ross Coulthart he has been in touch with the whistleblower, whose exact role and other identifying details, including gender, he has withheld because they fear what could happen if they were publicly known.

"I don't think that they're faking it or that they're lying about their fear," he said. "This person discovered this material accidentally. This was not something they had expected to encounter."

That fear is why Shellenberger said the whistleblower did not share intelligence imagery showing UAPs.

Comment: According to Shellenberger's report, the program is apparently an umbrella program designed to siphon UAP reports and intelligence away from Military Intelligence and into a classified repository. The intelligence includes data from multi-sensor platforms (e.g. high-quality imagery intelligence [IMINT] and measurement and signature intelligence [MASINT]), such as infrared, full-motion video, and still photography, using assets ranging from low-earth orbit to ground level.

As is standard for USAPs, the Pentagon is denying its existence.

Google indicated the name of the program was only searched the week before Grusch's Congressional testimony last year, then immediately scrubbed the results.

Image released of object shot down over Yukon in 2023

An image of the unidentified object shot down over Canada's Yukon territory in February 2023 has been obtained by CTVNews.ca.

Released through a Canadian freedom of information request, the grainy image appears to be a photocopy of an email printout.

Heavily redacted documents show how the image was approved for public distribution within days of the headline-grabbing incident, but then held back after a public affairs official expressed concerns that releasing it "may create more questions/confusion."

Comment: Did they hold back the images to cause more fear and confusion and allow alternative theories to proliferate?
So the entire spying narrative that came out of this was probably a complete hoax. And it was designed by the media to scare Americans, to make them think that China will simply spy on them in their homes or wherever they are. This is part and parcel with the whole US grand strategy of manufacturing consent for conflict with China.

The feature, which will be screened for buyers, will focus on the bipartisan congressional effort to uncover government knowledge about UFOs/UAPs.

As the conversation around UFOs/UAPs continues to heat up on Capitol Hill, documentarian James Fox has set his next feature on the subject.

Fox directs The Program, which is described as exploring "the unprecedented bipartisan congressional effort to uncover what intelligence agencies really know about UFOs, now referred to as UAP." In July 2023, three former Pentagon officials testified about their experience with or sightings of UFOs/ UAPs, and the U.S. Senate introduced the bipartisan UAP Disclosure Act. Earlier this month, it was reported that the Senate Armed Services Committee is looking to hold a UFO hearing after the elections in November.

This is the first image of a UFO shot down by American fighter jets during a chase near Alaska last year.

The photo shows a seemingly glowing horse shoe-shaped object with ill-defined edges over the Yukon territory in northwest Canada in February 2023.

It was shot down by a US Air Force F-22 stealth fighter on a joint mission with the Canadian Armed Forces following the now infamous Chinese spy balloon drama of February 2023.

Redacted documents show the image was designated as 'unclassified' within just days of the now 19-month-old incident, yet Canada's defense department did not release it to the public.
