Obama fueled 'Russia collusion' lies in secret White House meeting

obama
In 2022, Bloomberg's Jason Leopold obtained a transcript of a secret briefing that Barack Obama held with a group referred to in the transcript as "progressive journalists." The meeting took place during the final days of the Obama administration on January 17, 2017.

A Bloomberg article regarding the secret meeting focused on the part of the briefing in which Obama alleviated the journalist's concerns about a potential Trump presidency. Obama stated that a one-term Trump presidency was no big deal because Trump's breach of the "norms" could be remedied, whereas eight years of norm breaking posed a genuine threat.

Leopold later sent out a tweet promoting the Bloomberg article. It mentioned that he would post the transcript; however, it was only posted a few days ago. Many thanks to our friend Stephen McIntyre for bringing it to our attention.

Comment: And that is how the Swamp does politics.

Desperation: Netanyahu fires Israeli defense minister Gallant

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has fired Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing "significant gaps" in their position on the war against Hamas and Hezbollah.

Foreign Minister Israel Katz has been offered the defense job, while Gideon Saar has been tapped to take his position if he leaves, according to Israeli media.

"Serious differences arose between Gallant and me regarding the campaign's management, with these disagreements accompanied by statements and actions that contradicted both government and cabinet decisions," Netanyahu said in a statement on Tuesday, explaining his move.

Comment: Even Gallant can see that opening a 3-front war (Gaza, Lebanon, Iran) is suicidal. Despite multiple assassinations, Israel is getting its butt kicked in Lebanon, Hamas is still fighting, and Iran just demonstrated unquestionable missile superiority.

Is the West finally ready to admit defeat in Ukraine?

The media is changing the narrative as the proxy war is running out of steam.

The Economist magazine reports this week that "Russia is slicing through Ukrainian defenses" and Ukraine is subsequently "struggling to survive." Across the Western media, the public is being prepared for defeat and painful concessions in future negotiations. Journalists are changing the narrative as reality can no longer be ignored. Moscow's coming success has been obvious since at least the summer of 2023, yet this was ignored to keep the proxy war going.

We are witnessing an impressive demonstration of narrative control: For more than two years, the political-media elites have been chanting 'Ukraine is winning' and denounced any dissent to their narrative as 'Kremlin talking points' that aim to reduce support for the war. What was 'Russian propaganda' yesterday is now suddenly the consensus of the collective elites. Critical self-reflection is as absent as it was after the Russiagate reporting, following the 2016 US election.

Similar narrative control was displayed when the media reassured the public for two decades that the US was in control of Afghanistan, before it fled in a great rush with dramatic images of people falling off an airplane.

Comment: The strategy is how to redefine 'winning the war' one loss at a time.

Israel nullifies agreement with UN aid agency for Palestinian refugees

Israel has officially notified the UN that it is terminating a 1967 agreement with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

West Jerusalem has accused the organization of ties to Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups. The Israeli parliament last week passed legislation banning the work of the UN agency in the country.

The UNRWA was established in 1949 to deal with Palestinian refugees after the creation of the state of Israel led to the Arab-Israeli war. In 1967, following the Six-Day War, Israel requested that the UNRWA continue its operations in Gaza and the West Bank, which it agreed to facilitate.

On Monday, Foreign Minister Israel Katz said in a statement:
"UNRWA - the organization whose employees participated in the October 7 massacre and many of whose employees are Hamas operatives - is part of the problem in the Gaza Strip and not part of the solution. The UN was presented with endless evidence about Hamas operatives working at UNRWA and about the use of UNRWA facilities for the terror purposes and nothing was done about it."
The UN agency has denied the allegations, saying it takes measures to ensure its neutrality.

Trump: I shouldn't have left the White House

The Republican presidential candidate attacked "corrupt" Democrats during a campaign event in Pennsylvania

US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has said he regrets leaving the White House after losing to Joe Biden in 2020, and repeated his claim of "stolen elections."

Speaking at a campaign rally in Lititz, Pennsylvania on Sunday, two days before election day, the former president said the US had turned into "a failed country" under the leadership of an "incompetent group of fools."

Comment: He left because all the traitorous RINOs were whispering in his ear that it would be best for the country, and subtly threatening a civil war. Certainly the Antifa goons were at the ready.

Harris campaign: 'Block Community Notes we don't like'

Kamala harris

Harris operatives caught red-handed manipulating X to censor criticism: the Harris-Walz campaign is manipulating social media sites to artificially boost their popularity, spread election disinformation, and skirt election laws.

In part one of this investigation into how Kamala Harris' presidential campaign is deceptively manipulating online platforms, it was revealed that the campaign is operating a Discord server that directs hordes of volunteers to use their social media accounts to deceptively push election propaganda.

The goal is to artificially manufacture consensus by making pro-Kamala Harris messages on social media appear more popular than they are, and it is often done in violation of the Terms of Service of the social media platforms. In more extreme cases, they are encouraging people to skirt election laws and using these "astroturfing" campaigns to spread disinformation they think will help win the upcoming election.

US could have prevented Ukraine conflict - Medvedev video

Exceptionalism will once again be the country's undoing, the ex-Russian president has told RT.

The Ukraine conflict could have been avoided entirely if the US had shown enough "wisdom" and "flexibility" to strike a comprehensive security deal with Russia, former Russian President and current deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has said.

The ex-president made the remarks in an exclusive interview with RT, which largely revolved around the situation in Georgia and the outcome of its recent general election. The polls resulted in a defeat of pro-Western opposition parties, with the ruling Georgian Dream party greatly reinforcing its position.

Israel's attacks on Iran were an apocalyptic error by Netanyahu. Here's why

Netanyahuothers
© Times of IsraelIsraeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu strategy meeting
We see that Israel has no longer term military strategy, only short term excursions which will drain both its resources and the morale of its frontline soldiers.

While the whole world now waits with bated breath as to the result of the U.S. elections in only a matter of days, many are also waiting to see what are the implications for Israel's recent strike on Iran. Despite being told by Joe Biden that it could not strike military installations it went against the advice of its chief sponsor and did precisely that. Perhaps there has never been a better example of western diplomacy failing than this incident, given that while Israel lies to its own people and the western world via news outlets more than happy to spin a yarn about the reality of the attacks, Iran now has to look at a number of options in how it will respond. But respond it surely will.

Yet this singular act is probably the most reckless to date from Netanyahu. Never before has the Israeli PM gone so far out on a limb and taken such a gambit which not only pushes the U.S. to the brink of a war with Iran but also throws a spotlight on the existential question of Israel itself. The next strike on Israel's military infrastructure might be the final blow for Israel to function as a military entity forcing the U.S., or the next president, to intervene with Trump's critics already pointing out that he owes a number of favours to the Zionists which they will certainly call in.

Comment: By way of deception: Israeli PR is 'spinning' out of control. More smoke than mirrors.

A good historian for understanding the distortion of the State in the 20th century

Slobodian
© unknownAuthor Quinn Slobodian • Marion Butler McLean Professor of the History of Ideas Wellesley College • Professor of international history Pardee School of Global Studies/Boston University • Assoc. fellow Chatham House • Co-director of History and Political Economy Project.
It is necessary to have a recent History at hand that covers the world scenario. Fortunately, the Canadian Quinn Slobodian fulfills this role as a historian dedicated to explaining recent events.

A non-controversial statement is that, in our historical period, we have witnessed an avalanche of important events in world politics. Its corollary is the need of having a recent History at hand that covers the world scenario. Fortunately, the Canadian Quinn Slobodian fulfills this role as a historian dedicated to explaining recent events. His specialty is "International History", a field that sounds vague, but is as necessary as the international mechanisms grow. I read two interesting works by the same author: Globalists, from 2018, and Crack-Up Capitalism, from 2023.

It can be said that one is the continuation of the other, and that both deal with the metamorphoses that the State has undergone under pressure from apologists for market societies. In Globalists, Slobodian narrates the birth of neoliberalism and places it in Interwar Austria. With the end of the Austrian Empire, liberals intended to create a global system of norms in order to protect the free market. Thus, neoliberalism is not a laissez faire economic doctrine; rather, neoliberalism is a legal ideal. This legal ideal aims to:
Establish a global order composed of national states with limited sovereignty, subject to the protection of property promoted by supranational entities such as the WTO.

Harris and Walz declare war on America

KamTim
© Andrew Harnik/Getty ImagesPresident and VP candidates Kamala Harris and Tim Walz
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are prepared to wage war on America.

Let me explain. Walz's most important education advisor is Brian Lozenski, a professor of "urban and multicultural education" at Macalester College. Lozenski is a prominent national voice in the world of critical race theory (CRT), and the foremost authority on CRT in Minnesota. CRT holds that everything about American society is racist. Everything American values, from patriotism and hard work; American institutions, from the traditional family to religion; and American policies, from secure borders to energy independence. Racism, say the critical race theorists, is in America's DNA.

This is a declaration of war. It could not be any clearer.

Tim Walz appointed Lozenski to a key curriculum committee tasked with developing "ethnic studies" standards for instruction in every grade, in every required class, in every public school in Minnesota. (Ethnic studies is a cousin of CRT and, like CRT, has the "overthrow" of America in its sights.) Under the proposed standards, as described by Katherine Kersten of the Center of the American Experiment:
  • "First-graders must 'identify examples of ethnicity, equality, liberation and systems of power' and 'use those examples to construct meanings for those terms.'" (Yes, first-graders.)
  • "High school students are told to 'develop an analysis of racial capitalism' and 'anti-Blackness' and are taught to view themselves as members of 'racialized hierarchies' based on 'dominant European beauty standards.'"
Ethnic studies is the centerpiece of Walz's education agenda, and Lozenski is the leader of the ethnic studies initiative. Nor is this radical program simply something that has bubbled up from below.

Comment: This election is 'a no brainer'. Vote accordingly.
