Drones used in attack on Russia's bases in Syria "could only be shipped from US"

Drones used in attack on Russia’s bases “could only be shipped from US”
The Russian news agency Interfax is reporting that a so far unnamed member of Russia's Federation Council - the upper house of Russia's parliament - has said that the thirteen drones which on Saturday attempted unsuccessfully to attack Russia's two Syrian bases in Khmeimim and Tartus could only have been shipped from the US.

Note that this does not outright say that the US supplied the drones to the Jihadis who carried out the attack, though it comes very close.

The Interfax report of the statement about the US origin of the drones by the member of Russia's Federation Council is dated 16:31 hours Moscow time. At 16:50 hours Moscow time - ie. just 20 minutes later - Interfax reported the Russian Ministry of Defence saying that at the time of the drone attack on Russia's Syrian bases a US reconnaissance plane was spotted flying over the Mediterranean.

Comment: While its slowly becoming common knowledge that the US and its lackeys are the source of terrorism around the world, they are becoming increasingly brazen in how they go about it:

Nikki Haley hosts Jerusalem UN vote after-party for 'Friends of the US': Countries representing 0.5% of world population show up

Nikki Haley
Nikki Haley’s tweet: “It’s easy for friends to be with you in the good times, but it’s the friends who are with you during the challenging times that will never be forgotten. Thank you to the 64.”

What if the US Ambassador to the UN had a party for all of America's true friends? The room might be pretty empty.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley hosted a "Friends of the US" reception Wednesday to thank the 64 brave diplomats who didn't scold Donald Trump for his over-the-top Hanukkah gift to his bro, Bibi Netanyahu.

There were three levels of guests at the party, really.

First, the VERY welcome guests - those who voted with the US, against the resolution. Numero Uno, of course, Israel: "Israel completely rejects this preposterous resolution. Jerusalem is our capital. Always was, always will be," explained Netanyahu.

The other heavyweight nations that proudly stood with the United States were Guatemala, Honduras, Togo ("Africa's Best-Kept Secret") and the wee island states of Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, and the Marshall Islands. As USA Today put it, "Four of the countries - Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, and Palau - have combined populations less than Boise, Idaho." This massive amalgamation, this force to be reckoned with, standing arm-in-arm with America, has a total population of less than one half of one percent of the world's population (about 3.7 million).

Comment: The funny thing is that Nikki Haley doesn't realize how pathetic this is. See also:

Moldova's government suspends popular president again in order to push through anti-Russian policies

Moldova's Constitutional Court has temporarily suspended pro-Russian President Igor Dodon
Moldova's Constitutional Court has temporarily suspended pro-Russian President Igor Dodon from his post in order to allow the ruling coalition and the government to enact decrees that Dodon had refused to promulgate.

This is the third time Dodon has been temporarily suspended in recent months, and the second time since the beginning of this year.

The court suspended Dodon to allow the government to promulgate a bill that bans Russian propaganda, agora.md reported on January 5. Moldova's parliament on December 7 endorsed an amendment to the media law to ban radio and TV programmes "with informative, analytic, military and politic" content produced abroad, except for those produced in the European Union, the US, Canada or signatories of the European Convention on Transfrontier Television.

Russian ambassador denies 'foolish' allegations of election meddling in Mexico

Russia's ambassador to Mexico has denied allegations that his country is attempting to interfere in the Mexican presidential elections as "foolish."

U.S. National Security Advisor Herbert McMaster accused Russia last month of launching a "sophisticated effort" to sow divisions ahead of Mexico's presidential election next July. The U.S. intelligence community has previously accused Russia of interfering in the 2016 U.S. presidential elections.

Comment: The allegation that Russia may be trying to meddle in Mexican elections is absurd to the point of being comical. First, do Mexicans think they are so important geopolitically speaking that Russia would want to interfere in their elections? How would Russia benefit from that? Second, Mexico has historically done quite well in 'meddling' with its own elections without the help of any foreign nations - apart perhaps from the US. Fraud and vote-rigging are almost a given in Mexico, and there are already indications that the next presidential election this year will not be any different. If any scandal comes up in the context of the electoral process, are they planning to blame it on Russia already??

New Strzok texts show massive hate-on for Trump and Fox News: "Megyn Kelly looks HORRIBLE" and Chris Wallace is "a turd"

strzok Page

The Gateway Pundit reports newly obtained text messages between disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok and Bureau lawyer Lisa Page demonstrate more anti-Trump bias at the agency. The FBI agent, once a fixture of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe, told Page that he enjoyed seeing then Fox News host Megyn Kelly "going after," Trump during the debates.

The Hill reporter John Solomon notes...
When the two shared a National Public Radio article on the opening of Trump's new hotel in Washington, the two could barely contain their disdain.

"That's one place I hope I never stay in," Page wrote.

Strzok replied. "Agreed. I hope it fails horribly."

Occasionally the two also opined about the media in general. Strzok, for instance, called a New York Post article about agents unhappy with the outcome of the Clinton email case "stupid," and referred to Fox anchor Chris Wallace as a "turd."

After one of the presidential debates, Strzok also had an observation about then-Fox anchor and current NBC anchor Megyn Kelly. "Vaguely satisfying to see Megyn Kelly (who had Botox and looks HORRIBLE) utterly going after Trump," he texted.

Feminist Angelina Jolie teams up with NATO to 'make the world safe for women'

In a recent Guardian article titled 'Why NATO Must Defend Women's Rights', NATO Secretary-General Jens Soltenberg and Hollywood movie star Angelina Jolie assert that "NATO has the responsibility and opportunity to be a leading protector of women's rights." NATO, moreover, "can become the global military leader in how to prevent and respond to sexual violence in conflict." The two vowed to identify "ways in which NATO can strengthen its contribution to women's protection and participation in all aspects of conflict-prevention and resolution."

The pairing of a NATO bureaucrat and a famous movie actress may at first glance appear odd. However, this partnership has been long in the making. Some years ago, NATO, always on the lookout for a reason to justify its continued existence, not to mention its perpetual expansion, came up with a new raison d'être: It would be the global champion of women. "Achieving gender equality is our collective task. And NATO is doing its part," said Mari Skåre, the NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security, in 2013. In March 2016, on International Women's Day, NATO held a so-called "Barbershop Conference" on gender equality.

Global Engagement Center: US propaganda for all

Department of state
Buried deep inside one of the last bills signed into law by President Barack Obama, we find an interesting glimpse into the anti-Russian mania that has gripped Washington since mid-2016. This little-discussed addition to the bureaucracy that exists in the hallowed halls of the Federal Government is the latest addition to helping Main Street America determine the "real truth".

In March 2016, President Obama created the Global Engagement Center (GEC) under Executive Order 13721 which ordered that:
"The Secretary of State (Secretary) shall establish the Global Engagement Center (Center) which shall lead the coordination, integration, and synchronization of Government-wide communications activities directed at foreign audiences abroad in order to counter the messaging and diminish the influence of international terrorist organizations, including the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), al Qa'ida, and other violent extremists abroad, with specific responsibilities as set forth in section 3 of this order. The executive director of the Center shall be the Special Envoy and Coordinator for Global Engagement Communications (Coordinator), who shall report to the Secretary through the Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy." (my bold)
As such, this is what we find on the U.S. Department of State website:

Comment: Bill or no bill, the US has been doing the very things described above for a long time now. However the language used in the amendments is very concerning as it takes the media war to a level where there is even more involvement with the state. Though Tillerson did hold out on the funding they were to receive, it was eventually approved and money available at the start of the year. So we can for 2018, expect to see more lies coming from the US propaganda machine, and anyone opposing the mainstream narrative to be called a "foreign entity". In other words, more of the same.

Caught red-handed? US spy plane flew between two Russian bases in Syria during 'ISIS' swarm drone attack

The Russian military in Syria has disrupted a massive attack with the use of battle drones on its facilities in the country on January 6, intercepting six and shooting down seven more UAVs launched by militants.

The US Navy's Boeing P-8 Poseidon was on a patrol mission in the area between the Russian Hmeimim airbase and Tartus naval base in Syria when militants attempted to attack the facilities using 13 drones, the ministry revealed on Tuesday.

"This forces us to take a fresh look at the strange coincidence that, during the attack of UAV terrorists on Russian military facilities in Syria, the Navy reconnaissance aircraft Poseidon was on patrol over the Mediterranean Sea for more than 4 hours at an altitude of 7 thousand meters, between Tartus and Hmeimim," the ministry said.

Comment: Between the lines, the Russians are telling us they know the Americans launched this swarm drone attack - in conjunction with 'ISIS' (probably US operatives) - on its bases.

No sooner has the bulk of Russian forces gone home than the Pentagon 'tests' the defensive capabilities of the remaining Russian forces.

Imperialists being imperialists, we can't fault them for trying, but they have apparently lost sight of the fact that they can no longer do anything 'in the dark' in Syria.

Fusion GPS' Glenn Simpson called Bill Browder a fraud in Senate Intel Committee testimony

Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson ripped British financier Bill Browder in his testimony to the Senate Intelligence Community on August 22nd, according to the full transcript of his interview that was released today.

In the 312-page document, which Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) released unilaterally this afternoon after a series of disputes over whether it should be made public, Simpson forcefully attacked Browder's credibility. Citing research he has conducted on Browder's business history in Russia, the former Wall Street Journal reporter made various bombshell allegations against Browder such as corruption, fraud, and money laundering. Moreover, Simpson contends that these revelations raise serious questions about the motives of one of the world's leading anti-Putin activists.

Simpson alleges that when he first met Browder, he was "working on a story about Vladimir Putin corruption" at the Wall Street Journal, whereas Browder was still a prominent investor pouring money into Russian companies and strong supporter of Putin. "[Browder] lectured me about how have Vladimir Putin was not corrupt and how he was the best thing that ever happened to Russia," Simpson told the committee:

Comment: Here's the thing: Simpson is correct. Browder is a fraud, and the run-down of events above is accurate. See: That's not to say the same applies to the Trump dossier Fusion GPS produced via Chris Steele.

'South Korea has nothing to worry about, all our bombs are only aimed at the US' says North Korea's chief negotiator

North Korea's bombs and missiles are only aimed at the US, Pyongyang's chief negotiator says. He said there was no reason to raise the issue of nuclear weapons during talks with the South.

"All our weapons including atomic bombs, hydrogen bombs and ballistic missiles are only aimed at the United States, not our brethren, nor China and Russia," the chairman of the North's Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland, Ri Son Gwon, said during a joint statement with South Korea on Tuesday.

He went on to state that nuclear weapons would not be discussed in talks with Seoul, since they are only aimed at the United States. "This is not a matter between North and South Korea, and to bring up this issue would cause negative consequences and risks turning all of today's good achievement into nothing," said Ri.
