Marijuana used to be a popular herbal medicine in the 19th and 20th centuries and was common in U.S. pharmacies of the time. Yet, during the Nixon administration it was declared a Schedule 1 controlled substance and labeled as a drug with "no accepted medical use." Despite it being the most reviled plant on Earth, marijuana -- or cannabis -- has many medical uses that have long been known by science. There are over 100 active cannabinoids in cannabis with the non-psychoactive cannabidiol (CBD) accounting for 40% of the plant's extract.

CBD in the form of oils, tinctures, creams and sprays, ingested or applied topically, has been proven very efficacious in treating a wide range of disorders and maladies. Seizures, chronic pain, cancers of all types, Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, GI disturbances and psoriasis are just a few of the illnesses that this weed is known to treat and it's high time cannabis medicine regained its rightful place in pharmacology.

This Sunday, we're interviewing Alex Krainer, hedge fund manager and author of The Killing of William Browder: Deconstructing Bill Browder's Dangerous Deception. Bill Browder is the man responsible for much of the anti-Russian sentiment in the West in recent years through his lobbying for the Magnitsky Act, which sanctions individuals believed to have been involved in the death of Russian "lawyer" Sergei Magnitsky in 2009. Browder told his story in a book called Red Notice, in which he paints himself as a totally innocent victim of a Russian campaign to destroy him. But Krainer dissects Browder's account piece by piece, showing that he was anything but an innocent businessman.

In addition to deconstructing Browder's self-serving lies and rampant Russophobia, Krainer gives a concise history of the crisis Russia went through in the 90s, how a handful of Russian oligarchs and Westerners like Browder siphoned the country's wealth, and how Putin turned all that around in the years after he came to power in 1999.

Three and half years ago, I wrote an article titled 'Mummy, why is Daddy wearing a dress? Daddy, why does Mummy have a mustache?' where I suggested that one of the objectives of the LGBT/feminist movement was not really freedom or equality but the normalization of pedophilia.

The article provoked a lot of debate among Sott readers, after all, the jury was still out, the alleged feminist/LGBT and pedophile collusion was just an assumption. I still had my doubts though, and in July 2017 I wrote another article 'Post-nihilism, a template for where we are heading' that included the following:
Pedophilia is, of course, part of the agenda. And it has been so for a long time. Think about it: the tangible differences between a man and a woman are greater than the tangible differences between a 14 year old and an 18 year old.

If they manage to brainwash the masses to the point that they believe the male/female duality is just a social construct, imagine how easy it will be to blur the line between an 18 year old and a 14 year old and, subsequently to enact a law that reduces the age of sexual majority, i.e. legalize pedophilia.

And this abomination will be promoted in the name of equality (everybody has the right to express their sexuality, even towards children), love (which is stronger than anything, including artificial age barriers), and freedom (sexual freedom).
Admittedly these assertions were also mere possibilities, because despite circumstantial evidence, there is no smoking gun proving that the LGBT/feminist lobby is consciously promoting a pro-pedophilia agenda. Recent events in France, however, may have taken one more step towards making that a reality.

Later that day, he issued a statement on the Extraordinary Administrative Radio Conference to Allocate Frequency Bands for Space Radio Communication Purposes, held in Geneva, Switzerland from October 7 to November 8, 1963. He invited other nations to participate in setting up a global communication satellite system. He spoke of "a peace system worldwide in scope."

Following that, John Kennedy sent to the Congress the 17th annual report on U.S. participation in the United Nations, and then he signed into law bill (HR2073) to allow the conveyance of submerged and tidal lands to Guam, the Virgin Islands, and American Samoa if they are needed for economic development or other compelling reason. Today, feminists want all the rights, and none of the responsibilities, none of the more problematic side of life and reality. The last 40 or so years of feminist nonsense has not worked to uplift and empower women, or teach them about their rights, responsibilities and prerogatives in human society vis a vis the human mating and reproductive cycle. Instead the feminist movement has invested its time in promoting women as both super-heroines who can do anything, and passive victims that can do nothing.

Harvey Weinstein has the golden touch when it comes to movies. Not every one he has been involved in has been a success, but the overwhelming majority of them were watchable, and some truly great. Scream, The English Patient, Emma, The Crow, Beautiful Girls, Princess Mononoke, Good Will Hunting, Jackie Brown, Rounders, Phantoms (Ben Affleck was the bomb), Mansfield Park, She's All That, the Kevin Smith films, Lord of the Rings, Equilibrium, Chicago, Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds: the list goes on and on.

Harvey Weinstein is also ugly. He was not lucky enough to be born in the top 20% of men, the "666s" as they are called: 6 feet tall, 6-pack abs, 6-figure salary. Those are the men that women will dare to approach; for the rest of us mere mortals, it's a slog to fulfill that part of your evolutionary purpose that involves finding a woman who is willing to have your children. For the Harvey Weinsteins of the world, it's a matter of cultivating your comedy, or your bank account, or your creative successes. For every inch on your waist, add another 0 to your salary to compensate.

This October saw the continuing trend of deadly and record-breaking wildfires, massive rainfall, freak hailstorms and flooding and sudden powerful down-bursts wreak havoc across the planet.

Early October snow also surprised people from the US to China, while many others spotted meteor/fireballs streak across the sky, with one of the space rocks possibly starting a wildfire! The chaos came pretty close to home for one or two people who had seriously close encounters with lightning!
