Believers in UFOs, aliens and ghosts outnumber those who follow mainstream religions, a survey has found.
While 54 per cent of people believe in God, 58 per cent believe in the supernatural.
Researchers found women were more likely to believe in the supernatural than men, and were more likely to visit a medium.

Description: My fiance and I(I had just proposed, haha) were leaving Indianapolis and on our way back to Bloomington where she resides. We took Bluff Road out of Indianapolis to State Road 37. Driving down south, past the Greenwood region, but way before ever reaching Martinsville, I see an aircraft in the distance, with a solitary flashing light, which flashes once every second or two, moving slowly from south towards the north, rearing up to pass me overhead. I'm not paying too much attention to it, I was too focused on driving, but my lady told me, "Check out that plane." At which point, I look up through my windshield, as it's about ten seconds before it could pass overhead of my car. I realize how low it is, it's only 50-100 feet(I'm terrible at estimating lengths) above us, this scares me, as I believe it's a dangerously low flying plane.

Description:I witnessed the most obvious UFO I ever imagined. I was driving towards the Oxford Valley Mall on Oxford Valley Rd. coming up to the Trenton Rd. intersection (an open field then a Seven Eleven in the distance are on my passenger side). As I was driving down Oxford Valley Rd. I couldn't help but notice lights in the horizon to my passenger side. What seemed at first it could have just been a helicopter, as my driving slowed down and the UFO got closer, I continued to dismiss it by thinking, "Well, it is too big to be a helicopter, it must be an airplane."

The Austin Planetarium is now investigating some strange sights in the sky - caught on tape. An astronomy expert is calling them unidentified flying objects - UFOs.
Some men who live in a Central Austin apartment building say they've seen bizarre things in the sky for months, but lately it's been more frequent. The men recorded their sightings on home video. Experts from the Austin Planetarium visited the apartment building area Friday night to see if they could also spot the objects.
Nothing appeared in the sky Friday that would convert any skeptics. But the home video show by Carl Lancaster and Doug McCullough may raise questions in some people's minds.
"Sometimes they go fast, sometimes they go slow. They make no noise," said McCullough.

On November 13, 2008, several photos were taken in the Stephenville, Texas, area that are reminiscent of the video and photos previously photographed in the skies over Erath County. The photos were taken at night and show fast moving lights creating a zigzag effect on film. These photos are just the tip of the ice berg when it comes to new UFO activity in the Stephenville area.
Although many would correctly argue that the UFO activity in Erath County, Texas, has never really ceased since the January 2008 sightings that brought so much attention to the area, UFO sightings have certainly been on the rise over the past several weeks. Things began to heat up on October 21, 2008, when local residents in Stephenville and Dublin, Texas, reported seeing lights and discs in the air at night and during the day.
A police helicopter flying over Birmingham narrowly avoided tragedy when it nearly collided with a UFO, a report has claimed.
The pilot managed to swerve out of the mystery aircraft's way while he was on a routine police surveillance task over the city centre earlier this year.
The helicopter was also carrying two police observers during the journey at around 9.50pm on May 2.
All three reported seeing an aircraft with two continuous blue/green lights - but were unable to identify what it was. The extraordinary incident is detailed in a document compiled by experts from the Airprox Board, which records near misses and reports them to the military and air traffic control units.
What in the world continues to fly in the skies over Stephenville? Or maybe it's out of this world.

On November 12, 2008, another strange manifestation occurred in this locality, which evidently remains the area for deep mysteries.
This occasion involved the mutilation of a small rabbit, which shows us the impunity with which such deeds are committed.
The animal's owner says that at 8 pm on the previous evening, she fed the animal for the night and awoke to find it in the condition displayed in the photographs. Brick walls on all sides enclose the site: the only open area is the roof. It is divided by another wall, with the rabbits (3 of them) on one side and hens and chickens on the other.

Residents of the town of Metán also witnessed strange lights with zigzagging movements at low altitude late into the night. These lights disappeared into the fields, and occurred at the same time as the Chicoana events. What is remarkable is that the predominant direction of movement is toward the NW, which dovetails with the statements made by the people of Chicoana, who see the movements predominantly toward the SE. In both cases, the trajectory suggests the Cabra Corral Resevoir, an immense body of water.
The reason that I'm highlighting this fact is because the disappearance of large quantities of water is often associated with this phenomenon.
