Number of witnesses: 4
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Two bright lights and a orange star.
Weather Conditions: Cloudy overcast night with no stars
Description: Me and three friends of mine were driving back from Mareeba to Kuranda. We drove over a hill which is quite a high point and gives a good view that overlooks the area. As we were driving over the hill we all saw two huge bright lights side by side over the tree tops about maybe a couple of kilometres in the distance but quite close. As we kept driving it kept coming in and out of view because of the trees that were in our way. Lasted maybe about 10 of 15 secs then it completely disappeared. The lights were so huge and brightened just above the trees this definitely was not a plane, house, or comet. All 4 of us saw it and it freaked us out. Someone else must have saw it too cause the lights were huge.
Two men on Queensland's Gold and Sunshine coasts have reported seeing a mysterious white light shooting through the night sky about the same time a Territory woman claimed to have photographed UFOs near her Palmerston home.
The Territory mother-of-three, who wished only to be known by her first name Kym, photographed two "discs of light" in the sky as she watched the dark rain clouds roll towards her Palmerston home last month.
Kym said the image was taken on her mobile phone and that she didn't notice the strange lights in the clouds until she downloaded the pictures on to her computer.

Witness Statement: We were driving down Manchester Road [B5095] towards Cheadle at about 23.40 on 9 May. We were looking at the Moon and noticed solidish looking 3 large red/orange lights moving in a triangle formation from just to the left of the Moon moving right to left across the horizon. We stopped to try and get a better look but our view was obscured by trees.

Time: 11:00 pm
Witness Statement: To the west of Exeter, I noticed a light moving towards me traveling east. Then another two followed equidistant. Initially thought could be helicopters, possible on approach to Exeter Airport. Could only see three balls of pale white with none of the usual aircraft navigation lights. Difficult to ascertain height or speed, but guess lights were high and traveling slowly.

Time: 10.10pm
Witness Statement: Second sighting. Prev. sighting 18/04/2009. A strange orange ball of light appeared to be following a plane coming into Manchester Airport traveling at same speed about half a mile or so behind plane. As the plane turned to my right the ball of light turned left and shot off at speed. Then about 2 mins later another ball of light appeared traveling the same path as first one. This time there was no planes in the sky, there was no noise and it went of in the same direction as the first one at speed.

Date of Sighting: 10th May 2009
Time: 22:00hrs
Witness Statement: I saw a red glow, flying from left to right at high speed. There were no white or green lights that you would normally associate with an aircraft. I called my wife and 2 friends to have a look to substantiate the sighting. It did not alter altitude or speed. There was no noise coming from the 'blob' either.

Date of Sighting: 10th May 2009
Time: 22:25
Witness Statement: Whilst driving back to Bowness from Grange-over-Sands, me and my wife saw 3 bright orange lights moving through the sky. They were equally spaced out and seemed to be moving upwards in an arc shape and as we got closer they seemed to be flickering as if they were on fire. I asked my wife to pull over so we could look at them closer and as we got out of the car 2 of the lights shot off at great speed but the 3rd one came to an abrupt stop and hovered in the sky for about 10 seconds before shooting off like the other 2.

Date of Sighting: 10th May 2009
Time: 6 pm
Witness Statement: As I was sat on my motorbike at the side of a street in Montgomary Road waiting for my girlfriend to finish work I was looking up at the airplane contrails and then took my eyes off the sky for a split second then looked up again not really expecting to see anything other than the same contrail, but right underneath was a metallic cylinder with a ball shaped object on the top and appeared to be moving in the direction of Manchester heading west. I think it was spinning while moving very slow and was very large in length.
