Letter to the Editor -

I was walking on the outskirts of Ayia Napa at 1am on May 19th 2009 with my friend when I noticed two bright white triangular shaped lights moving fast from sea over land, like a pyramid on top of a pyramid one in front of the other both exactly the same size, shape, colour and brightness.

I got a real good look at them, the front one slowed down while the rear one seemed to merge into the front one to become one perfect triangle then it sped off and the light turned out and disappeared.

Strange lights captured by a weather cam became a hot topic of discussion on the early morning newscast on KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh. A weather cam situated at Blackhawk High School captured two strange lights that passed over at different times. The first light passed around 3 a.m. in the morning, while the second object passed over at just prior to sunrise. KDKA has since posted an announcement on their website claiming that their technical staff have associated the sightings with natural phenomenon. The first object was described as being the Moon, while the second object was explained as being the planet Venus.

US: UFO sightings continue in Murrysville, Pennsylvania

There have been a rash of sightings coming in the past couple of weeks from the Westmoreland county community of Murrysville, Pennsylvania. The most recent event occurred last night (May 18)

Multiple witnesses, returning home from shopping in nearby Monroeville, reported seeing a strange amber/orange colored light in the sky near route 22, at approximately 9:25 p.m. While observing the object, one witness described it as growing substantially brighter and bigger (described as four-times the original size). The object was traveling close to a communications tower as it was growing in size. The witnesses drove to another vantage point in the hopes of gaining a better view of the object, but the object had dimmed, then disappeared. While approaching their home, they decided to turn onto some farmland which provided a much better view of the area.

Found your website in a random search, didn't know who I should contact about this so I'll drop you a line.

It's 1:20 a.m. 5/21...I have a rooftop patio with clear view of the LA night sky. I was sitting having a drink when I looked up and saw something unusual floating by high in the sky. It was V-shaped, with the nose leading the way, the size of a small aircraft. It had what looked like several circular nodules on it's underside, didn't look like any plane I've ever seen before, though it moved at the speed of one.

No lights on at at all, I could only see it because the lights of LA are so bright shining up on its underside, and it didn't make a sound. I'm the most skeptical person on the planet and I only had 2 beers (wasn't drunk). I've never seen anything like this and couldn't begin to say what it might be, though admittedly it could be anything.

Massive UFO event in Uzbekistan widely reported

A massive UFO event has occurred in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. Numerous residents claim to have seen a UFO on May 15 at around 6pm. The UFO was seen for around half an hour before disappearing. Witnesses included foreign Journalists and Directors of local corporations. The incident has been widely reported in both Uzbeki and Russian media outlets.

The UFO, which was clearly observable, consisted of two luminous silver spheres: one above the other. The lower sphere was larger and brighter than the higher one.

Russian language UFO forums are buzzing as researchers and UFO buffs argue as to whether what was seen was a UFO or possibly just a meteorological probe.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Bright orange lights on a flying object, at first, it looked like an aeroplane on fire, but it was not falling from the sky. Watched from the front window, then went outside to carry on further observations. Flew from the south and headed towards the north west. Did not make any sound and flew at a rapid rate. Did not seem to deviate from it's course. Night sky was calm and clear.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was a clear night. Sitting on my sofa, we have a clear view through a window over our fireplace. Noticed some really weird looking lights, something never seen before. There were 3 of them and they appeared to be in a line following each other. No noise, not looking like they were moving very fast, but hard to tell. Their 'motion' was unlike anything I had seen. Called to my wife and she was shocked! We went out on our back balcony to continue to watch (this all taking place in about 2-3 minutes. My wife went inside to call our 12 year old son that there's a UFO in the sky. He thought we were nuts until he came outside and saw them. By this time, there were 4.

Shape of Objects: Tiny Lights, similar to a satellite.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I looked up to scan the sky for meteorites or satellites upon exiting my car and walking through my parking lot. Something caught my attention and my first thought was that I spotted a slower small meteorite - nothing very special. It was perhaps 10 degrees from straight overhead and it was moving North West. But then I realized that there were three lights forming a triangle. One light was following the other, then the third was about half that distance to the right and exactly in the middle. The lights were about the same brightness of a satellite, and they were all identical.

So today there was a helicopter flying around and around and around here in Vernon BC all afternoon, and around 5:00 p.m. I tried to take a picture of it when I saw something below it. I had seen a pearl UFO the other day as well, but didn't get a picture. This time I was ready. I will attach the pictures and you are welcomed to post it.
