At least six people have been rushed to the emergency room after an armed suspect went on a stabbing spree at a shopping mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The attacker was neutralized and is now deceased, according to police.

The suspect, who is yet to be named, was apprehended at a Macy's store in the Crossroads Mall after stabbing multiple people, a local ABC news affiliate reports.

Meanwhile, St. Cloud Police Sgt. Jason Burke told the St. Cloud Times that there are multiple victims and police believe the suspect to be dead. Reports suggested that at least 6 people were transported to hospital with injuries.

Comment: Update: ISIS claims responsibility for Minnesota mall stabbings
Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) has claimed the man who stabbed eight people in a Minnesota shopping mall on Saturday as one of its "soldiers," without specifying if the still-unidentified suspect, who was shot dead, was in direct contact with the Islamist group.

"The executor of the stabbing attacks in Minnesota yesterday was a soldier of the Islamic State and carried out the operation in response to calls to target the citizens of countries belonging to the crusader coalition," said a statement published by Amaq, a news agency associated with the group.

A man dressed in a private security guard uniform stabbed eight people in the Crossroads Center Mall in St. Cloud, a city 100km northwest of Minneapolis-St. Paul. He was then killed by an off-duty policeman from another jurisdiction. None of the victims sustained life-threatening wounds, and all but one have been discharged from the hospital.

Eyewitnesses reported that the man asked at least one person if they were a Muslim during the rampage, while others said that his words referenced Allah.

Milwaukee police 'accidentally' shoot 13-yo elementary student after she became combative

police shooting elementary school milwaukee
A 13-year-old girl was brought to the hospital Thursday afternoon after suffering a bullet wound from a police officer's gun. According to police, they were attempting to bring the 'combative' child under control when the 'officer's gun discharged.'

According to police, they were called to the school to investigate allegations of a crime. As they were talking to the young girl, she allegedly became "uncooperative and then combative," according to the release.

While officers struggled to control the elementary student, one of their firearms somehow discharged while still in the holster and also somehow hit the girl, according to the release.

After being shot, the girl was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for a graze wound and released.

Comment: This may or may not have been a 'freak accident' as police are so often caught lying to protect themselves and school personnel consistently back up their 'stories'. The fact is that children are being put at serious risk by having cops in schools:

Jill Stein: Hillary wants to start war with nuclear armed Russia

The Third Party candidate expressed her alarm with Hillary Clinton's vow to implement a no-fly-zone in Syria which she believes would bring the United States into a direct air war against nuclear armed Russia.

On Friday, Green Party nominee Jill Stein expressed horror at Hillary Clinton's plans to address the growing crisis in Syria by establishing a no-fly-zone arguing that such a measure would bring the United States into direct confrontation against Russian aerospace forces backing the Assad regime. Currently, the Russian government has backed the controversial Syrian leader with a focus on stabilizing the domestic situation in order to prevent the country from becoming a failed terrorist state overtaken by Daesh terrorists while the United States has long taken the position that the fight against Daesh could be held concurrently with ousting the Assad government.

Alabama gas leak 30% worse than being widely reported: "No one is exactly sure when the pipeline will be completely fixed" - or why it happened

gas pipeline
This whole situation keeps getting worse and worse. It seems to be growing by the day. When Colonial Pipeline originally announced the leak, it was reported that a mere 1,000 barrels of gas had leaked, or said another way, approximately 45,0000 gallons. It was then increased to 250,000 gallons - more than a 5 fold increase. Now it has reached more than an 8 fold increase from the original estimate. Do they actually know how much damage has been done and do they know how much gas has leaked out?
The Sept. 9 break has leaked 6,000 barrels (approximately 250,000 gallons) of fuel into Shelby County, Alabama, the operator estimated, up from its original estimation of 1,000 barrels. The cause of the leak is currently unclear. Source
The more I dig into this gas pipeline leak situation the worse it gets.

As we reported yesterday the Colonial Pipeline that pumps gasoline from Houston, Tx to southern New York state became damaged on Friday September 9, 2016. Major news sources didn't begin reporting this incident until Tuesday, September 13, 2016 and national news services first reported on it beginning Friday September 16, 2016 a full week later.

People power! Hundreds of thousands of Europeans protest against TTIP and CETA free trade deals

Tens of thousands of people protested in European cities on Saturday against planned free trade deals with the United States and Canada they say would undermine democracy and lower food safety, environmental and labor standards.

Organizers -- an alliance of environmental groups, labor unions and opposition parties -- said 320,000 people took part in rallies in seven German cities, including Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Frankfurt. Police put the figure at around 180,000.

Smaller protests were also planned in other European cities, including Vienna and Salzburg in Austria and Gothenburg and Stockholm in Sweden.

In Berlin, demonstrators waved banners reading "STOPP CETA - STOPP TTIP", another placard said "People over profits".

The demonstrations are against the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) with the United States and the Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (CETA) with Canada, currently being negotiated by the European Union's executive with the respective governments across the Atlantic.

Opposition in Europe to the trade deals has risen over the past year, with critics saying the pacts would hand too much power to big multinationals at the expense of consumers and workers by establishing arbitration courts to settle disputes between companies and governments.

Pipe-bomb in garbage can explodes near Marine Corps race in New Jersey

new jersey bomb
An explosion that went off in a garbage can Saturday morning in a New Jersey beach town likely was timed to disrupt a Marine Corps charity run, authorities said.

Three pipe-bomb-type devices wired together were found near the boardwalk in Seaside Park. No injuries were reported and a four-block area was evacuated for most of the day, authorities said.

An initial examination showed the devices were rudimentary, with some type of timer, and only one of them detonated, two federal law enforcement officials told CNN.

Al Della Fave, a spokesman for the Ocean County prosecutor's office, said he believes the blast was meant to affect the Seaside Semper Five race.

"If it was just a matter of minutes, in terms of difference, there would have been a good number of people running past that explosive device" because of its location along the race route, Della Fave said.

Comment: The Tsarnaevs, of course, were patsies in a much-larger operation that took place in Boston that year.

Civilized society: Russia bans Pornhub, YouPorn - Suggests citizens 'go meet someone in real life'

russia internet
Russian courts have ruled that two popular adult websites, Pornhub and YouPorn, will be banned in Russia. With access to the troves of free porn suspended, Russian social networks exploded with sarcasm.

Both sites were added to the blacklist of Russian media by internet watchdog Roskomnadzor on Tuesday.

The agency did not specify why the courts ordered the sites to be blocked, but reiterated its advice from the last time it banned Pornhub in 2015. Answering a person on Twitter who asked whether the watchdog offered any alternative to the adult site, it said the alternative is to go out and meet somebody in real life.

Comment: What a response!

Comment: Exactly, that's part of the problem. Even when people get off porn, its negative effects linger on. Even if this ban of just two websites is temporary - or, if the ban sticks this time, all the other websites will remain available in Russia - the Russian authorities are clearly making a symbolic stand against this soul-destroying 'past-time'.

2nd bomb goes off in US Northeast: At least 29 injured after 'intentional' explosion in Chelsea, New York City

New York authorities have confirmed that an improvised explosive device stuffed inside a dumpster was the likely cause of a blast in Manhattan which resulted in multiple casualties. The mayor called the incident an "intentional act."

The outdoor explosion occurred at 135 23rd Street, between Sixth and Seventh avenues in New York City, outside the Associated Blind Housing facility that cares for the visually impaired.

At least 29 people were injured in the blast, with one person suffering serious wounds. Twenty four people with non-life threatening injuries were transported to local hospitals.

NYC mayor Bill de Blasio called the incident an "intentional act," adding that, according to preliminary information, "there is no evidence at this point of a terror connection."

"There is no specific and credible threat against New York city at this point in time from any terror organization," the mayor stressed. "Based on this hour there is no specific connection to the incident in New Jersey."

Comment: Update 18 Sept, 9pm CET

The authorities have reported that there's "no connection with international terrorism."

Perhaps 'ISIS' didn't so it, but whatever way you slice it, the event has surely something to do with distracting people from the fact that the US is blatantly providing air support to the enemy it has supposedly spent the last 15 years fighting.

Belgium - a country with an 800% spike in euthanasia over a period of 10 years - has just euthanized its first underage person. This follows a 2014 law allowing minors to be euthanized in particularly critical cases.

Not much information was given to the press by physicians from the national committee for euthanasia. It was merely reported that the person was a minor, and that they were critically ill, according to Reuters.
