NewsReal: It's Armageddon! Iran Strikes Israel, World Trembles!

Nah, not really. Although, that's what they'd all LIKE you to believe. Trust us, you'll know Armageddon is here when it actually happens, and you won't need the media to tell you so.

Following Israel's barbaric attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus two weeks ago, Israel and its Western stooges have practically goaded Iran into 'taking revenge' (while warning its government to 'keep it proportionate'). This finally happened last night, and both sides are claiming 'victory' from it. In reality, US-Israeli air defense did not block "99%" of the airstrikes, but nor did Iran do much damage. As Joe and Niall explain, this follows the pattern of 'strike and mediated counter-strike' we've seen in the Middle East since the assassination of Iranian general Soleimani in 2020.

In the meantime, the Russian government is pressing its Western counterparts for answers to its questions about the funding and logistics that went into the Moscow concert hall massacre in March, unusual seismic events recently took place in New York City and off southern Africa, and questions remain about what has happened to UK royal Kate Middleton.

I wonder how many barrages like that Israel can repel, and does that factor into how long it takes for Israel to do something really regrettable?

I have to think that slow moving drones were mostly used in a bid to deplete the air defense stocks. On top of that Israel and the US can claim operational superiority still to save face.

Its a fair chance that the use of drones instead of missiles was a calculated move in more than one way.

1. The Iran hardliners were pacified enough.

2. Air defenses were probed.

3. Air defenses were depleted.

4. No major damage was expected at all. That ANY targets were hit was unexpected.

5. The possibility of harsh instantaneous reprisals occurring was limited to an extent.

6. A million dollar attack exacted a billion dollar defense.

7. The exact locations of all permanently stationed air defense batteries are now known.

A next attack may not be 300 drones, but 300 cruise missiles with depleted air defenses to try and stop them, on top of optimized flight paths and trajectories for the new projectiles that have been discerned from the successful strikes.

This possible fit for tat is not a good thing in any way.

The main thing they're happy with appears to be the precedent this sets for the next time(s) the Israelis strike/drone/assassinate anything Iranian, anywhere: rather than more words of condemnation, and maybe targeting of Israeli assets outside Israel (like they did in Erbil, northern Iraq, following the terrorist attack at Soleimani's commemoration in January), they'll just hit Israeli military infrastructure directly.

It could go on for years like this, as we've seen in the former Ukraine, but the $64,000 question is, will the Israeli regime eventually accept defeat and a 'new reality', as Kiev is surely destined to, or, on its way down, will it 'go Samson' on as much of the world as it can? Ukraine doesn't have nukes and stealthy subs...

graeme15b - if I was planning an attack upon the zionist state of Israel where the citizen have intentionally made direct efforts to cause ongoing harm to the true owners of the land of Palestine - I would eliminate these fanatical settlers first.

I suspect that would send a message of humility to those who think they got claim to the holy land - they are literally killing mothers and babies - really - they are just settlers out of line and out of their league.

There are a few more noteworthy facts to mention.

First, the attack originated not only from Iran, but Jordan, Syria and Iraq as well. Which means these countries coordinated with Iran, and will most probably join a war against Israel as well.

Second, there are US bases in the countries mentioned above. Not only denied these countries the use of their airspace for attacks on Iran, they can expect to level the US bases if they join in.

Third, Hezollah will certainly be part of it. They helped draining the Israeli air defense system by artillery missile barrages just hours before the actual Iranian attack.

Although their leaders are playing a delicate game, because they are economically in a weak position, and the population is furiously anti-Israeli.
