Planned Parenthood has received backlash after posting a tweet declaring that virginity is "outdated" and "hurts everyone."

The post featured a billboard with a further declaration "Virginity is a social construct," and claiming that the concept of virginity is a "patriarchal' way of thinking:

They want to discredit virginity, so they can get the kids to not care and just have sex with them , and not wait until they're 18 or over or to find a love of the opposite sex forever, making marriage not important, and sex just a fun thing to do. We need to stop this somehow, our world needs to change this.

Ethan I just find it astounding that PP only equates virginity with women. My older brother was a virgin until he was 26. I was 20. We both took it somewhat seriously, but in my case I later regretted not taking it more seriously. But we don't all think with our brains when we're in the moment.

It is not a social construct. It is something that typically when people mature they regret giving up so freely. PP is fucking gross.

And I don't need to research the scientific evidence - all their statements are purely ideological, and pretty pathetic at that. One must be quite brain-dead to believe that nonsense. OTOH, considering the non-placebo vaxxed ...

Virginity for a female so I've heard is evident by virtue of the hymen. For the male, virginity is not easily tracked, but the male individual knows whether he is virgin or not.

So, maybe tis true - virginity is a state of mind to a degree, and sometimes hymens get impacted for other reasons, and really virginity is sort of a state of mind. But tis not a social construct - I think it is a personal thing - and really usually it is obvious who is a virgin and who is not.

Frankly, the days of "losing ones virginity" seem to be coming to an end....it is almost as if they are trying to kill innocence. It is a sad state of affairs and I hope wiser minds prevail. Whether one is a virgin or not is not really important in my mind - I judge somebody based on their actions present - not what they have or haven't done in the past.

So in conclusion, just like a "witch" can be a man or a women, so can a "virgin" be. Oh, and for the sake of accuracy it was only 20 witches got hung in Salem (5 males and 15 females I think) and that one fella got weighed down by stones that pushed out his last breath after the Sheriff stuck his tongue back in his mouth - that Sheriff died 5 years later age of 30 and you get what you give I reckon.

Allow me to remind you - we are ALL judges. We judge everything we read and see, taste, smell, touch. We are all our own personal judges. For those seeking the truth in all things and trying to align to a more 4D STO way of life, the construct of the rules of the "courthouse" should always be changing and not hung up on a defined way to see reality. You can't just "settle in" to what you think you know.

I think if a seed is planted in the body of a women, then the women is the keeper of the seed once the seed is planted. I think keepers of the seed have autonomy in their body even while the seed is there because without their body, the seed will not amount to anything.

But, who knows the mind of a women? Not I.

I was a virgin well-up there in years - looking back upon it, I know now that it didn't need to be that way then, but there is no changing the past. I'm glad I was a virgin for as long as a I was. I don't think it necessarily matters whether Christ came from a Virgin.....if one doesn't ascribe to that does that mean all the other good ideas have no merit?

It is difficult to go back to that state of childhood purity, after so much damage... Life can hit us pretty hard, and one feels like they have lost their innocence in that process. I don't think it is about virginity as a physiological state, but “in essence”, inner-sense, innocence.

I don't think anybody should be a "slave to the state". For a pregnant women, I think she is the "keeper" of the seed been planted and it is her body - she has domain over her own body as we all do I believe individually.

With that said, once she feels a "stirring" within (also referred to as a "quickening"), I hope she recognizes that the seed has been planted and has grown and now can move to the point where she can feel it within. I'm aware that this whole "quickening" concept can be subjective (so I've heard), but I think it matters. Ultimately tis the women who has jurisdiction over her body and the baby within. I would hope she recognizes the potential of the baby she holds inside and desires that baby to have a good life.

Indicating beyond cavil that virginity is a physical condition which elevates the individual to a certain preferential status. Clearly even GOD thought virginity was more than just an idea, or he wouldn't have told his CHOSEN people to slaughter everyone except virgins .
