Comment: Below are the four separate sighting reports of a green light falling from the sky at approximately 10:00 pm on March 19th. It does not seem to be a meteorite as one of the witnesses saw it take off horizontally after falling vertically and another claimed that it was not a shooting star.

Green light Falls From The Sky Over Route 80 West New Jersey
Date: March 19, 2010
Time: 10:00 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Route 80 West.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: I saw a UFO tonight on the way home on route 80! I saw a greenish light falling from the sky. I thought in my head "Holy ***, that plane is going crash!" I slowed down to watch, thinking it was pretty close and going to actually crash. Then, it suddenly stopped falling and took off like a rocket going from a "vertical" type fall, to a "horizontal" flight.
Once I saw it do that, I knew it wasn't a crashing plane and literally said out loud "What the heck was that?" It was gone in a matter of a split second, which freaked me out even more. Pretty freaky stuff. Now I'm reading other people's sightings of the same/similar thing!
Neon Green Light Over New York City, New York
Date: March 19, 2010
Time Approx: 10:00 p.m.
Location of Sighting: New York City.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Kind of square?
Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was on my way to have dinner with my boyfriend and my friend. I was looking at sky and all of a sudden, I saw this neon green light falling really fast. At first, I thought it must've been some sort of fireworks, but I knew it wasn't. My boyfriend saw it the same time I did. The object look kind of square-ish to me I think.
This is the first time I have ever seen anything like that flying that quick. It was the width of my index finger if I held it up high and I knew it was pretty big in real life.
I was trying to find out if others saw the green shooting star that I saw last night when I came across your website.
I live in an eastern suburb of Cincinnati, OH, USA, and was walking my dogs at approximately 9:15 on March 23, 2010, when I saw a streak of green light go horizontally across the northern sky, traveling east to west. It abruptly changed course still flying in a westward line, but seemed to also be losing altitude. I then lost sight of it in the tree line.
At the time I thought that the flight pattern was very odd, the color wasn't normal, and it was the largest shooting star I had ever seen.
It was obviously a great distance from me, but not only was it an odd sight, but I also felt a strange fear. At the same time, my dogs got very excited, but that could have been do to the fear that coursed through me.
