I was parked in my driveway getting out of the car when I thought I saw a shooting star in the Western part of the sky, over the Black Hills, moving North East. I exclaimed to my husband - "look! A shooting star! Make a wish!"

But what I thought was a star wasn't. It didn't fade out, it seemed very close to Earth too close to be anything but an airplane), it made no noise at all, and the shooting star-like thing split, uniformly, into 4 parts. The 4 parts looked like shooting stars, same size as the original and they moved slightly away from each other.

Approximate 7 boomerang objects in sky no lights visible on the aircraft the objects were white on the underside they flew in a formation and then a few of them veered off to the right and the others followed.

Three objects in triangle formation in the skies above the San Bernardino Mtns/Devore, three lights at each point, then one light broke formation spun around the two and then a fourth object/light appeared hovered momentarily then all four sped off and disappeared into the northward sky. Approx 3 min.

Sir, I have just read some reports of a huge bright orange light over Loughton Essex In 2005. I live In Romford Essex just a few miles away from Loughton. Last Monday evening 16 March '09 at 20.00hrs, I was looking into the cloudless sky from my living room and watching a number of planes circling above in a stacking bay waiting to land at Heathrow airport. Suddenly a huge bright orange light appeared in the sky, much lower than the stacking planes and perhaps even lower than the planes that I could also see that had just taken off from London City airport.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside on the back porch, the sky was very clear and looking west at the stars with Venus to the SW. Suddenly a round, bright white, a somewhat bluish light appeared about ten degrees N of due west at around 50 degrees above the horizon. It was nearly twice as bright/large as Venus which I could see to the SW. It descended rapidly straight down as soon as it appeared, did not leave a trail of any sort, brightness and size increased slightly and in around 4 seconds got to about a thumb and half's width at arms length above the horizon over the low hills to the west. At this point, it stopped descending and a tight, short, rainbow-like cone appeared on the trailing side, but the cone was not much longer than the object was wide.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My mom, dad, sister, and I had gone out to see a space launch, but I had only a pair of binoculars since it would take to long to set up a telescope. My sister had thought she had seen it, so I took a look, and sure enough, there was something there. There was one thing that made me think of extra terrestrials-there was no jet stream or fire/smoke coming out of the back.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It appeared to be moving in a straight path at a steady speed, so I assumed immediately that it was a satellite. To my amazement it picked up speed dramatically. Stop and did circular, zigzag, rapid movements in a fixed area in the sky.

Alarm ... ministers were briefed on UFO sightings
Britain's defence ministry was so alarmed by reports of a UFO sighting nearly 20 years ago, it took the unusual step of briefing ministers, according to secret files released today.

Other incidents in the files, released by the National Archives, include a woman who claimed she was approached by an alien with a "Scandanavian-type accent."

The group of seven files, released by Britain's National Archives, were recorded between November 1987 and April 1993 by the Defence Intelligence Staff in the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and include details of around 1,200 different UFO (unidentified flying object) sightings.

Update on The Canadian Wilderness Light Craft UFO and Alien Creature Event

Recently I wrote the article: "Strange Light Craft and Alien Gray Caught on Camera in the Canadian Wilderness". The photo of the craft was included with an enlargement of what appeared to be a creature hiding behind a tree watching the man who took this photo. [Link]

We knew this photo was real and very unusual. When it was sent to us we enlarged it and that is when we found the images of the creature peeking out from a tree at the tree line of the field.

India: 'UFO' blip leaves airport officials foxed

Kolkata - An unidentified flying object blipped on the city radar in the wee hours of Thursday, a little after mysterious objects were photographed hovering in the London sky. The blip that lasted for 15 minutes on the Bay of Bengal left airport and IAF officials foxed. While some suspect an unscheduled aircraft strayed into Indian airspace, others termed it a UFO. The Directo-rate General of Civil Aviation has ordered an investigation.

The unidentified aircraft or object was spotted on the airport radar at 3.45 am on Thursday. Sources said there was only a Cathay Pacific overflight scheduled for the time and in that direction. "But the flight showed a separate blip. What's more, we had communication problems with the Cathay Pacific pilot during the time the mystery blip was on screen," said an air controller.
