Efforts are being made by snow removal teams to open the roads providing access to villages and hamlets; however, progress is challenging due to the thickness of the snow.
The heavy snow in the Yüksekova district of Hakkâri has adversely affected daily life.
Snow removal teams are making efforts to open the roads providing access to villages and hamlets in the Dağlıca region, where the snow thickness reaches up to 7 meters in some places.
Despite the ongoing efforts by the District Special Provincial Administration Directorate's construction site teams to clear the blocked roads, the thickness of the snow is making their work challenging.
According to a report in Anadolu Agency, the teams are using construction equipment to create a "snow tunnel" and aim to quickly open the road for access to villages and hamlets.
Nope! No thank you. I fell in a spruce trap once and the panic was almost immediate. One of the very few times I've ever screamed "Help!" in my entire life. Fifteen meters of snow is a nope for me, dawg. I'm generally fine with snow, but I haven't had to worry about getting buried alive by it since that ski incident.
Artex unfortunately I had the same experience.. if wasnt for a fellow skier catching me out the corner of his eye, suddenly seeing me 'dissapear', I wouldnt be writting this. Agreed on the panic as theres nooooo way of getting out of that hole.
gonexploringBuffalo_Ken I had just learned to ski the day before it happened. No one warned me about spruce traps/tree wells. I was on a green trail so thankfully many people saw it happen and someone came to help within a minute. Also thankfully I sank into it instead of falling headfirst. Headfirst, upside down asphyxiation is one of the more horrifying ways to go. It just reminds me of the terrible tragedy of Floyd Collins. [Link] But it took him 14 days to die. I will never be a caver, at least not in any cave I can't stand upright in.
Anyway, I took to skiing pretty quickly (I'd been rollerblading for a couple years already and it translates really well) and there were trails through trees I'd already been on, so skiing close to a tree wasn't on my radar as a danger except as a sudden stop.
This is where following the 'global warming' mantra becomes dangerous. I'm guessing that al gore has had to cancel some gigs at the risk of sounding stupid. Still, that hasn't bothered him before.
Peter Jennings - well we all know "weather" is inherently fickle and all sorts of weather events have happened over time, but seems to me anybody not a dimwit propagandized zombie ought be able to figure the whole climate change "story postmodern" is nothing but malicious harm narrative spewed by elitist globalist whose days are numbered and whose personal jets they use to get to meetings are soon to be grounded - get into your bunkers you mother fuckers and then we will gas you out with pleasure. Then after the gas is blown away - probably using nitrogen - we will come collect your carcasses and throw them in mass graves being that seems to be your modus operandi. then you can be in the tomb unknown and take your pompous elitist dimwit selves to hell to be burned forevermore - sort of like the kids dead in Lahaina and Gaza think....I agree with them - they have power reminiscent and their numbers are magnitudes more than you elitist fuckers.

Exactly. It's getting clearer and clearer that we are looking at the beginning of an ice age termination event, not runaway "global warming".
"Global warming" becoming merely "climate change" shows anyone with a brain that the whole thing is a power grab and nothing else. Now with WEF, UN and all the Western powers rallying behind it, the mask is off and it is a cult.
History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.
